Queen’s Wharf is a residential development from Mount Anvil and Fabrica, set right next to Hammersmith Bridge and overlooking the River Thames. It’s home to 165 apartments – a combination of studios, apartments and penthouses, and is based on the old Riverside Studios site. The site in the midst of a regeneration and will soon welcome state-of-the-art facilities for the likes of theatre, film and dance.

Too expensive for what it is

Exhaust from the restaurant, Smells very bad and can’t let the window open
there is no air conditioning. it’s comfort cooling which is designed to be 6°C lower than the temperature outside. In summer, the temperature can be 27.5degC inside the flat.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Location is great with nice pubs and restaurants.
Existing building around are not properly maintained and you can feel a bit insecure.

The air conditioning
The roof top being useless
The smell from the restaurant exhaust
No car park available in the building

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

My dream apartment on the river

The development is attractive and very well done. I am delighted with my apartment which was finished to a high standard with choice of 2 different colour schemes for floors and tiles etc. The appliances are top quality. The second bedroom is rather small with disproportionately large bathroom. The main criticism is noice from the soil stack pipes in master bathroom from flats above and clear that the contractor cut corners. The concierge area is very stylish but the carpark, lifts and some other common parts were very late in being finished because of works at Riverside Studios and still not very satisfactory. Mount Anvil, has on the whole, been very responsive to any issues in my flat and quick to sort out snagging but there are still some ongoing issues with building as a whole.

The location is very special. Fabulous location with views of the river and Hammersmith bridge, walkway along the Thames Path with all the pubs and handy for the underground and local shops. Having Riverside Studios in the same complex is a huge bonus.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The sales team were very charming and persuasive but not open about the space beneath and oversold the apartment . The handover was perfunctory and some complicated features like the heating/cooling not adequately explained.

What is the best feature of your home:

The master bedroom is best room in the flat – views of the river in two directions, lovely balcony and very stylish bathroom.

Lovely Place to Live

We feel lucky to have found this jewel on the Thames. It is a great location and nice apartments with great amenities. The front desk staff is cordial and helpful. It can be a bit hard at times to contact facility staff but when you do they are helpful. It is nice that residents have access to the building roof area and an interior garden.

This is a lovely area to live in with a small number of shops and several restaurants and so close to Hammersmith tube stop. You feel removed from hustle and bustle living along the river.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we had know there was an induction stovetop or we would not have brought our regular pots and pans. We also wish we had known that there is only one entrance per apartment block, it is sometimes hard for delivery people to find the door to our individual block.

What is the best feature of your home:

Location, views and apartment is furnished to a high standard. Our landlord and team has thought of everything to make the apartment comfortable and nice to live in.

The staff are the best part of living here. They are helpful lively and supportive. You can always rely on them for help or for a chat. This creates a comforting and relaxing atmosphere to the apartment block and gives it a more special flair than other apartment blocks. The design on the building is very thoughtful and easy to use. Me and my family love the access to the roof.

Awesome location. great views with easy accessible restaurants, shops and entertainment like the river side studios, where you can have lunch or enjoy a movie. The tube is very nearby as well as trails for running or walking.

There isn’t a gym but there are like 26285181 other gyms nearby the apartment block.

What is the best feature of your home:

Amazing balconies and views. A lot of space and pleasing to the eye design.

The concierge are lovely and helpful – 24/7.

Our flat is well designed, spacious and efficient.

Great views and quiet neighbours.

We love being by the river, it’s flat and great for exercise.

Very close to Hammersmith but set away by the river, quiet area but has everything you need.

Love the design, homely and not tacky. Only thing I hated were the blinds that came with. Always clean. I would love a parking space but cant have it all. Staff are lovely always very helpful. Love the package service

Everything is so convenient. Choice of 3 different supermarkets, river walks only frustrating thing is the bridge.

The building is well designed and offer high standards. The development offers a beautiful central garden and rooftop featuring a beautiful view over the river. The facilities of the development are very well maintained, thanks to a very attentive staff.

Nice area, by the Pier Thames, with a good selection of restaurant and pubs in the direct vicinity of the development.

Very bad phone network in the flat. The flat sin D block, facing the courtyard doesn’t benefit from a lot of direct sunlight.

Floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious balcony, Miele appliances.

Excellent service in reception, very friendly. Feel like some of the finishing of the interior could be of higher standards but overall I am very satisfied. Beautiful building and a beautiful location. Needs more storage space.

Excellent location by the river, very quiet and incredible that we are in Zone2. Great transportation links. Good restaurants and shops near by.

That I am not allowed to hang anything on the walls with nails – so I would have left a few heavy items in storage.

I would really like more storage space – there is none

I think the building has a great design and everything feels very modern. The only issues I can think of is the door to the roof always has issues and doesn’t seem to have a priority which can be annoying. The other thing is that there are always issues with the lift but that is an issue with the lift company OTIS and doesnt really impact me. I feel like the building and property management is good because everything seems to be well organized and clean. The staff are really friendly and always happy.

The building is a 5 minute walk to hammersmith station. There is a tesco open until 10pm 3 minute walk away. We even have 2 restaurants in the building

There is no service for the phone inside the building

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would like to have service for my phone inside the building.

Modern luxury located by the river

The layouts of the flats are modern but sometimes too much, some studios layouts with no door for the bathroom. Never heard my neighbours,good insulation and soundproof. Design is contemporary and the appliances are amazing, wine fridge in every unit

Very well connected to the tube and bus services. The building is located next to the river that feels like it is an oasis to relax in the middle of the city. There are another developments with few restaurants which is convenient.

The complex layout is a bit annoying but manageable. Council tax is high.

What is the best feature of your home:

The balcony and the big windows allowing light into the flat.
