A Taylor Wimpey development, Postmark is a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Sitting across two postcodes, WC1 and EC1, the development is surrounded by Farringdon, Clerkenwell, King’s Cross, and all that they have to offer. Commuters benefit from the National Rail services at nearby Farringdon and the Piccadilly line at Russell Square.
I bought a new flat and received a flat to renovate with broken tiles, damaged bathtub, terrible finish. The development has had at least 5 leaks I know of and mine has yet to be dealt with after 6 months. Taylor Wimpey hide behind NHBC guidelines and encourage to contact NHBC to complain. They sell a high quality home with quality assured but this is not at all what you get. They find poor workmanship perfectly acceptable and refuse to fix a number of damages
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Nive area, lacks supermarkets but is very central and not too busy. Building work is unfortunately 6 days a week.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew they do not care once the sale is completed, that they have poor work ethics and do not take responsibility for poor workmanship and damaged and poor quality materials being used
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I still have snagging issues after 6 months. Issues have been closed without being attended to. I had to go on twittwr to get issues reopened. Taylor Wimpey go back on their word too: they say they will fix something then they say it is acceptable and close the issue without having dealt with it.
