The building’s central location is perfect for convenience, with restaurants, bars, gyms, and transport links all nearby. Buses, trams, and trains make it easy to reach other parts of Manchester—and with my new bike, I can get almost anywhere in 10 minutes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Issues are raised on the app and the management team responds promptly, often times within the same day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The headboard is fixed and cannot be removed. This means the beds are in a fixed position.

Excellent convenience living here. There are plenty of local shops and cafes in the area. You can get all you need for life within 10 10-minute walk from the building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been very responsive whenever I’ve raised an issue. They usually address maintenance requests within a day, and the staff always follow up to make sure everything is resolved. Communication is clear and professional, and they genuinely seem to care about residents’ comfort. Overall, I’ve been very satisfied with how efficiently and politely management handles any concerns.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that the bathroom ventilation could be a bit stronger, as moisture can build up more quickly than expected. However, with the large floor-to-ceiling windows that open wide, it’s easy to keep the air fresh and prevent any issues. Overall, it hasn’t affected my enjoyment of living here.

Loved living with Poplin, parties or small events for all holidays you can think of, the flat it’s self was beautiful almost like living in a 5 star hotel but it’s your own it’s cosy it’s 10/10!!!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Same day , and if no parts for the fix they will keep you updated on when this will be, always within the week

How the switch 2 water works fully, but apart from that happpy.

It feels very safe, and I get to enjoy being close to bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. At the same time, my apartment is quiet and peaceful at night.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues that I have had have been resolved very fast!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Maybe get some cushions for the sofa as they aren't the comfiest sofas.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Poplin is in an amazing location, bordering Ancoats and the Northern Quarter. There is so much on my doorstep including bars, shops, restaurants and I would recommend this location to anyone. The only downside is parking availability, however I did know this before moving in. There are car parks across the road but they aren’t the most secure so I park my car at Manchester Arena which is a short walk away. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of noise despite living on a busy road! When the windows are closed, you can’t hear anything which is great given the location. Transport is great too and I’d say it’s the ideal location to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
As above, any issues I’ve raised have been responded to promptly and the presence of the onsite team 24/7 makes me feel reassured if there were to be any issues in future that these would be resolved quickly!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The bins can fill up quite easily quickly. Also, the socials! I haven’t been to many yet as I’ve only just moved in but the building really makes an effort to put on what sound like some brilliant socials throughout the year!
