Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Not good after sales. Did not have heating for 8 weeks as boiler was plumbed wrong. Hours and hours of work men in my house all blaming each other. Hole in my wall for weeks. Finally sorted but Gleeson offered me nothing. Very poor service.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It did get sorted after 8 weeks but every one blaming everyone else. I had to get it sorted and this was not good. No thought of after care

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not to buy with Gleeson. Cheap is not always cheerful

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops and schools in walking distance. The development is opposite woodland that is fantastic for family and dog walks. Lots of nearby open space and close to Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had a few issues with a small leak in our bathroom, the site manager was fantastic and worked to get the leak fixed. There is a website that gets responded to quickly.

The length of time for building a new build? Make sure you note all the snags

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice area, a few pubs, lots of take aways, generally quite, low traffic, lots of walking areas for kids and dogs, not many okay areas or parks, few nurserys, parking is decent, but other on the estate parking is bad

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded in a slow manor, and things have got sorted after some time,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good aspects are that it’s nice and rural and away from the village life. Everything is local and quite. Most things are a walk away and you are really a half an hour drive from city centres such as Nottingham, Newark, Sheffield and Lincoln. The bus system is also handy and not a far walk to nearest bus stop. There are plenty of places for dog walks aswell, Thoresby park, clumber park, rufford park, boughton brake and more. Negatives are there’s not much for a social life. Although it’s a short drive to cities just mentioned. On a night out for example. Obviously the taxis are going to be £30+ just to somewhere. And more back home. So there isn’t any nice bars or many nice pubs to go too that doesn’t require a large fee for transport.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It was ok. It took nagging and time. And they are very quick and efficient to repair things. However again snagging not a good experience at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There was a patch of soil at the front of my house that I thought I had to sort out off my own back. Which was fine. And then 1 hr and a half later the sales representative asked if someone was sorting it. I said I’m not sure i thought I had to sort it and she said Gleeson was suppose to plant nice flowers and bark it and make it looks nice so it was a good job I didn’t spend any time or money on it or it would have been wasted.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Only good thing is location, houses built poorly, bad management, anti social behaviour, builders rush jobs to get it done, all houses have tons of issues but gleeson don’t care once they’ve got your money

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Nope, they don’t care, the issues get sorted after 9 months but then you have ongoing issues with what they’ve fixed
