Palace View is a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments on the Thames waterfront in Lambeth. The development is fronted by Lambeth Bridge and neighboured by Lambeth Palace, opposite Parliament and Westminster. The closest stations are Lambeth North and Vauxhall and both provide excellent transport links around London.

Lovely flat with gorgeous view

The development is of average built quality. The property was built around an year ago but I have issues with the toilet. It wouldn’t flush properly and I have reported the problem to the management. They responded quickly but didn’t actually acted upon it. I love my flat because it is beautiful, the living area is great, I have a lovely balcony with a view as well. It can get noisy on the street but the insulation is very good. A downside, however, is that as a shared ownership owner I don’t have access to the roof terrace and the gym.

The area is beautiful, with the view outside, however, I wish we had more supermarkets around, I have to cross the bridge and go to Waterloo which is far.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The fire alarms are incredibly sensitive, they get activated very easily.

What is the best feature of your home:

The view is the best feature of my home, I love it, it is gorgeous!

Nice big apartments and new modern building

I like that it’s a small building and the concierge always knows who I am.
My flat is big and I like that we have access to the outside areas and bike stores.
The lifts are quick and there’s is a gym and cinema room but I’ve not used these yet.
It would have been good to have fitted wardrobes in the second bedroom.
The location suits me as it’s easy to catch the bus to work and close to the river to jog along after work.

Shops are a bit far. Would be good to have a supermarket a little close.
Good to be so close to Vauxhall and Waterloo and can walk to Westminster for the the district line.

Courtyard is nice and hidden away

Good location

I like the area as it is close enough to central. However there is no big supermarket or grocery store nearby. I have had a few problems with my heating and showers. But the concierge is really nice. I emailed them and a constructor has come to look at my heating today.

No I dont think there is anything in particular, I researched well

It is the location it is really hard to find a good flat in central london

Central location but noisy

It has a central location and a good quality building. There is a concierge who are fantastic. The noise pollution is really bad with loud sirens, but I used to live off street so am not used to the noise.

With Lambeth Palace, the River Thames, Parliament and Westminster as neighbours, settings don’t come any better than this

You’ll feel like more than just a number at Palace View. This contemporary development is home to just 55 luxury apartments, so it’s got an inviting and intimate feel, but with all the hallmarks of a much bigger development. We’re talking a top fitness centre, a cinema room and a 24-hour concierge, plus a rooftop terrace offering stunning views across Lambeth.

Speaking of Lambeth, it’s a prime location to live in – packed with traditional pubs that freckle the Thames waterfront, and icons like the National Theatre, the Tate Modern, and the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

Just like the name suggests, Palace View neighbours the magnificent Lambeth Palace – the official London home of the Archbishop of Canterbury. It’s also pulled up right near Lambeth Bridge and the river, offering superb views of Parliament and Westminster. In other words, you couldn’t wish for a better setting – but it comes with a price tag to match. Each home comes with a balcony or terrace so residents can enjoy the vistas.

The views are everything here

I cannot stress enough the location of Palace View. It’s surrounded by some of the most beautiful London architecture around, and living here would mean I could pretty much play tourist every weekend 🙂

Gorgeous apartment with a balcony that made the most of the views. Lots of shared facilties like the gym and cinema, which was a nice touch. I’ve viewed other developments with hundreds of flats and all they offered was the concierge service.
