Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area is overall a pleasant experience. It’s extremely well-connected, with reliable public transport and everything you need within walking distance — supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and green spaces. The neighbourhood feels safe and is generally quiet. On the downside, parking is quite limited and can be difficult to find at certain times. Also, although most essentials are nearby, there aren’t many late-night options available.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management has been friendly and communicative whenever I’ve reported an issue. They acknowledge requests promptly and keep you updated on the progress. That said, the actual repairs can take a few days to be scheduled, which isn’t ideal if you’re facing something urgent. Still, they show a clear intention to support residents and resolve problems professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Before moving in, I didn’t realise how limited the parking situation was. If you rely on a car, it’s worth confirming your options early. Also, although the building advertises a gym, it’s very small and not suitable for a full workout routine — more like a basic fitness room. These details are easy to overlook during viewings but can make a difference day to day.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The building/ development is in close proximity to the city center with an abundance of bars and eateries, the main shopping street with enclosed and open retail in a vibrant neighbourhood. While the building is not in the very heart of the city center, it is safely tucked a couple of hundred meters away within a few minutes walk from convenience stores and public transport including the train station. It is a relatively quiet and private neighbourhood with all the amenities and facilities one would be looking for within reach.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very quick and extremely efficient service leading to quick resolutions
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I did a thorough study of this development before moving in, there is nothing I can think of that I may have missed

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Millwrights Place, Temple Back in Bristol offers a blend of modern convenience and urban vibrancy. The area is rich in amenities, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, especially around Finzels Reach and Cabot Circus. Open spaces like Castle Park provide a pleasant environment for relaxation. Transport links are excellent, with Bristol Temple Meads station just a short walk away, offering easy access to local and national destinations. The street itself is relatively quiet, with limited traffic noise. Parking can be challenging due to high demand, and bin collections are regular. Anti-social behaviour is minimal, contributing to a comfortable living experience.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been friendly and responsive whenever I’ve raised any issues. They usually get back quickly and try to sort things out without much delay. A couple of things took a bit longer, but overall I’ve been happy with how they handle problems.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I’d known before moving in is how limited the parking options are. It’s not a big issue if you don’t drive, but if you do, it’s definitely something to plan for. Also, the sun can really heat up some of the apartments in the afternoon — great in winter, but in summer you’ll want decent blinds or cooling. That said, the building has a great community vibe and the shared spaces are a real bonus — I’d tell any new neighbour to make the most of the rooftop terraces and common areas.
