The house looks lovely, I like the brick and white design.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great, especially for secondary school access. A short walk into the town centre. The street is quiet although we pay a monthly maintenance fee but the gardening maintenance by the front of the row of houses isn’t well kept and often forgot about. Overall though a good location

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have raised a few issues but they haven’t been particularly helpful

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Great location, couldn’t fault the neighbourhood - very safe

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The placement of the estate is great. Walking distance to the high street which is filled with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. A hotel on site means guests can stay easily. A great range of amenities across the road which is so handy when you need something quickly! Bus stop is located outside of the estate with main routes taking you directly into Swindon. Visitor parking spaces on the site are few and far between and we could have done with more. Bin collections are done weekly and done with very little disruption to the estate. The one big downside of where the estate is, is the traffic going into or through Marlborough, this can be particularly bad at times.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very slow. We found it very hard to be taken seriously and progress to sort the problems took a long time. We reported the problem in September and the work didn’t start until February the following year!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we had a professional snagging company come in to do the snagging list for us. It seems that people who use them get more done and in a timely manner.

The house itself we can’t fault, it has been done at a really high standard.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is amazing, the location is exceptional as it is located right on the edge of Savanak Forrest.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have responded but could have done it in a more timely manner

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The traffic around Marlborough is just terrible and takes ages

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A beautiful location, a mere 300m from savernake ancient forest and only a 10 min walk to the town centre of Marlborough, this development couldn’t be better situated. A few hundred metres from a local fuel station (which offers local residents fuel discounts) and medium sized Tesco. Enough distance from the main road for the heavy traffic not to be too bothersome.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Some of them; but not after several weeks of haggling, chasing, reminding and re-raising the issues. It has been tedious and difficult to say the least!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Read the warranty and know your rights, don’t be afraid when dealing with the post sales care team, particularly if a first home owner and never faced these issues before.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have off street parking with additional spaces for visitors throughout the development. Lots of local amenities for all ages ranging from baby groups, kids sports, and senior members of the community. The transport links are great access to the M4 via Hungerford or Swindon, trains from Swindon, Pewsey, Hungerford and smaller stations dotted around. Lots of local independent places to get coffee or food. Tesco and Waitrose both within walking distance. Petrol station and great primary and secondary schools as well as the collage.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, we had an issue with part of our fencing due to high winds and they responded quickly and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is a local Facebook group for the development which has been a great way to 'meet' some of the neighbours during the Covid Pandemic. People are very friendly and helpful.
