Apartments are extremely modern and if you are north facing you get a view of all of London. Some flats are compact but this varies. The building manager is present Monday to Friday to help with communal electricity. Modern interior, almost like a hotel. Very clean as there is a cleaner which comes once a week for communal areas. There’s a communal car park and bike storage.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Easy transport links, short walk to Wandsworth park. Monday to Thursday it is pretty quiet but busy at the weekend. Lots of convenient places to eat nearby. Everything in walking distance and next to tube so easy to get to central London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was suprised by how suburban it feels despite being 15 minutes from waterloo

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would like more storage space as there isn’t much.

Average development but exceptional location

Stamford square (Ireton house): It’s been now 5 years since completion. We had an issue with the quality of the wall painting and wooden floors that were stained with white drops of paint. A crew was sent to fix this but they scratched and stained the walls. All works in the building were done at a very mediocre quality since then there were several complaints from neighbours with leakages and serious wall infiltration to the point that some walls got as soft as a marshmallow. They kept knocking on our door to check if the infiltration was originated in our apartment. this happened 3 times so far. It was very annoying but we’re relieved these leakages hadnt affected our flat. Another problem is the building identification. We’ve had several problems with lost/delayed correspondence and parcels because delivery services couldnt find the property. There are no clear signs identifying the development and the 2 residence buildings that are part of it: Ireton house (3 Stamford square) and Rainsborough house (5 Stamford square).

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is great with plenty of parks, shops, restaurants. It’s well connected with central london with 2 stations.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How noisy the trains can be (our flat is literally next to East Putney station)
How much the service charge costs would oscillate. We started at a little more than £500 and are now paying almost £900.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would add a bedroom and remove the balcony – such a waste of space in a country with rain and cold weather most of the year.

Overall I believe that the building quality is very high and in general very spacious. Also in my opinion the apartment is very comfortable, homey and the big balconies make it a great place to live in.

A lot of issues

When I first moved in I had a heating problem in which the heating kept breaking during the winter. Also I had leaking problems and when they came to fix it the paint they use dripped onto the wooden floor. More importantly, the walls were damaged because of the leakage.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is pretty great and I don’t have any issues with it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I don’t wish I knew anything before I moved in. Maybe about the bad finish.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has responded very promptly tp any issues raised.

Comfortable and pretty

Contemporary and spacious. Works very well and much better than old terraced houses. Beautiful view onto a roof garden. Very safe with nice people as neighbours. Well looked after, although service could sometimes be better. Huge windows with plenty of light.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Not enough parks around but otherwise good for a family. And very well connected. Plenty of nice shoops and quite pretty.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I’d informed myself well before hand so it wasn’t surprising.

Modern, spacious, clean, great views from balconies. Good maintenance of the internal areas. It would be nice for all flats to have their own car parking space or option to rent one for a short period of time.

East putney has plenty to offer from multiple supermarkets, bars and coffee shops grest for socialising.
its quite a busy area and sometimes too noisy

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s no hyper speed internet available in the building

What is the best feature of your home:

Balconies that dont look over the tube and nice tennants of a similar age

Lifestyle is great. Build quality is good on the outside but we have problems. Building management is not great and no parking is available. And because it is a new build there is no council parking.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Convenience location. Cafes restaurants bars tube all around the corner

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not allowed to have a resident permit parking wise

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Management company could take more interest in the building upkeep

Good

Materials could be better. Things are not well maintained. We have boiler problems. Taking a shower is something we worry about. Things are provided but I think they are not good quality or maybe cheap. You can spend the same elsewhere and get better stuff.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Commute is very good shopping is great. Cafes are here but they lack personality.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Service charges are too high.hefty.i dont think they are worth it.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Other than size. The noise is annoying in the summer, the tube that is.

Great apartment bad management

The apartment is beautiful. It is very spacious. The appliances are new. We have a cafe and supermarket underneath the building. We live near the station. If not for work, I rarely would go central.. I love it.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Like it a lot. Shopping, restaurants and we are right next to the station.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing really. It is nice. The management is useless and they never address issues.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not very well. Car parking problems not fixed. You call, you ask for stuff and they never address issues.
