Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Kingsford Residence is located in a vibrant part of the city with many delicious and independent restaurants & cafes nearby. Close to local shopping centers, New Town, and Leith. My favorite aspect of the location is the proximity to lovely walking/running/cycling trails that connect most of the city.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There were several issues while we were there (curtains did not stay hung, washing machine and oven both had several issues) but communication was good, and the work was completed in a timely fashion.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Walking trails just across the road from Kingsford Residence connect you to the whole city!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is great, just a short walk from Leith Walk which has many options for food, drinks, grocery shopping and in general, conveniently located close to the city + transport links. You are able to hear road traffic but the roads are not particularly busy so it's not very noisy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team have been quick at responding to issues that I've had with the flat.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The building is calm and quiet, tenants and everyone working in the building are respectful of each other which makes it a peaceful place to live. Limited kitchenware comes with the flat (I only got a saucepan) so I had to purchase a few bits (pot, frypan, chopping knives, cooking utensils etc.) which took time to pick up/have delivered. Not really an issue but would've been helpful to know further in advance so that I could've been better prepared as the inventory list was only sent to me the day before my arrival.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is really convenient. Walking distance to both Edinburgh's city centre and Leith as well. Three bus lines serve the development, so it's very easy to commute to anywhere. All kinds of shops, bars and restaurants are also stones thrown.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, everytime we needed something to be done, the building management looked after us.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were promised double glazed windows in our flat, but it never happened.

Such perfect location! Nice quiet area! Parking is not the best but I guess I need a parking permit!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Pretty quickly and promptly to be honest! Very kind guys

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Didn’t know vacuums and irons and ironing boards! Wish I knew this! Or I would not of spent loads on my own!! Shame about the sk satellites too

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good decor and design. Location fine but transport nearby needs walking. The streets are a bit too dark at night but quite safe.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quick. They use fixflow for problem reporting.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The room gets cold quite quickly in winter. Quite an expense on heating. Dishwashers and fridges are very small.
