Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Since it is in the city center. Kangaroo Works has alot of offerings to choose from. From cafes such 200 to resturants with the popular Rudy's pizza

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I do not issue any complaints unless i need mantinance. And for the most part they always respond

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As a a student, i wish that i knew that most of people living here are families. While it is good and they are friendly. I wanted to meet other students

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is more than great, everything I need is within 5-10 minutes away, and the train station is 15 minutes away. There are mutliple public parking spots around the area and tram connections 3 minutes away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had a problem with the dishwasher and the maintenance team got it fixed for me.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When I moved in 3 years ago I did not know they had a gym as it was still not ready at the time

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Kangaroo Works is in a very central part of the city center. There is a bus stop right opposite the building so it’s convenient to catch a bus anywhere, the train station is a 5-7 minute walk which is also convenient. There is a parking space also close to the building, a new large one is also being built. There is a Tesco downstairs also which makes grocery buying very quick and easy!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Intentional about fixing concerns and future proofing to ensure it does not happen again.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known there were specific sections of the building for students so I could have a wifi configuration that fits tech settings.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Everything is so close by and within reach. There is tesco right below and moor market is a quick walk. So many coffee places nearby, also a nice florist very close by too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Tbh we did face couple of issues when we moved like broken washing machine, etc but the team is super efficient they send a brand new washing machine within few days. So I am pretty happy with the building management especially Leryce, she has been so helpful from the beginning.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just that I wish I knew that there are clubs nearby so expect a little too much liveliness over the weekends.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is honestly spot on. We’ve got so many cool food spots and basic shops just a short walk away, which makes life so much easier. The best part for us has to be the cinema - it’s less than 5 minutes away, so it’s basically our second home every weekend! Being in S1, you’re right in the heart of things, so transport is a breeze. It can get a little busy outside, but that’s just city life, and it’s totally worth it for the convenience.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever we’ve had a quick question or a minor thing that needed looking at, the team has been all over it. They’re really easy to talk to and they get things sorted quickly, which definitely gives you peace of mind.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing to keep in mind is the street noise. Even on the 6th floor, it can get a bit annoying late at night on weekdays. We’d totally expect it on the weekends, but it can be a bit much during the work week. If we’d known that beforehand, we probably would have looked for an apartment facing the internal courtyard instead. It’s not a dealbreaker because the location is so good, but definitely something to consider if you're a light sleeper!
