Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good location to access shops and not too far to drive to green spaces. Parking is safe and secure as well as good bin collection.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Not raised any issues as of yet so cannot say conclusively.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The layout of the flat as we were shown around by a third party at another flat and told the layout would be the same but it’s not. Turned out fine but not fully transparent.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent location in city center. Parking is great in private carpark Main concern is upcoming road changes upcoming - driving access may be tricky once implemented with many one way roads planned on young street and surrounding roads
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Martin responds as soon as he can, and reaches out to the appropriate person if he is unable to fix the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Be aware of the upcoming road changes if this is important to you. Windows have been reviewed multiple times in our time here, and the effectiveness of insulation will be clearer this coming winter. Otherwise, this building is managed by a great and friendly team, who liaises well with the landlord Centrick.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Iron Yard is located in a very convenient part of town with easy access both to the Moor and Ecclesall Road. There are three grocery stores within a five minute walk and easy access to shopping and restaurants.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have found them to be responsive and quick to either fix or make plans for fixing issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I love the resident gatherings and different things that are done for building residents. That would’ve been a motivating factor for me to move into this building. And honestly how great Martin and Bara would be to work with. They are a huge plus to this building and they were a big factor in my choosing to re-sign my lease.

I overlooked the small kitchen storage space under the pillar.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Overall, the neighbourhood is quite good. It’s easy to access the city centre with regular and reliable transport links, making commuting very convenient. There’s a decent range of local shops, restaurants, and cafes, and a few nice open spaces nearby for walking or relaxing. Occasionally, there are some homeless people in the area, and it can get a bit loud from time to time, especially on weekends. Despite minor issues, it’s a comfortable and well-connected place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
It took two years of constant follow-up to finally get the window issue resolved. The curtain in our room has been broken for over a year and still hasn’t been fixed. When the oven broke, we also had to chase them up to get it repaired. Overall, the response from building management has been slow and requires persistent follow-up.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly, if I had known about the condition of the windows beforehand, I probably wouldn’t have moved in. It was very exhausting both physically and mentally.
