Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is so much to do. The shopping centre is on the other side of the road so loads of places to shop and eat. It is next to a main road but the windows are sound proof. I am on the fourth floor so I can sleep with the windows open and the sound of the road is not too loud.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are very helpful, you can go to reception but if they are not there you can text them on WhatsApp and they will respond.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are plenty of shops within a 5 minute walk away, so you do not need to buy everything before you move in. There is a john lewis, tk maxx, next home etc.

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The common areas were always clean. The gym was amazing. The staff that works are brilliant! Location wise everything with super nearby no car was needed. Parking isn’t an issue if you have parking pass. There a free bus cross the street ‘hop on bus’. All of the amenities are walking distance maybe about 10 minutes. Hair salons , nails bars, bars, some of the best restaurants can. The safety you felt living in the building was so great! There was no noise at night time. Really good location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Did not have any issues, building manager was the best!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Right clear instructions for your Amazon drivers or your delivery drivers in regards to where deliver packages or food.

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Saxons is located right in the city centre so you are very close to everything. The best is the location but also the fact that it is still very quiet. I'm not normally disturbed my noise and if I think it is a bit noisy, I can shut the windows and it blocks any outside noise out. Close to the Highcross shopping centre and lots of restaurants.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I've not had any issues to raise so far but whenever I have had to get in contact with the team, I always get prompt responses.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Getting parcels delivered here is really easy, they get delivered to a secure parcel room that is only accessed by residents.

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to town centre and public transport. Close to Main Street so quite noisy at night. It’s impossible to sleep with windows open. Building next to this one always play load music during weekends sometimes till late evening.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Receptionist are very responsive. But there is no onsite maintenance and the reporting system is very complicated. You will need to go through a super long “checklist” to try to fix by yourself following YouTube video. I wouldn’t expect this from a “luxury accommodation” as what it promotes as.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If I knew the room is this cold in winter and the whole room temperature rely on 2 small electric heaters, I won’t move in.

Manager response

Hello there, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback, it is super important to us. Thank you also for the kind words, I appreciate this. As we have 100 apartments here, we are a small team and an intimate community, we do not have 24 hour staff or maintenance present sadly - however we are here Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm and every other Saturday too to help, also we do have a maintenance reporting system online via your Centrick Portal and an out of hours reporting system too. Our onsite maintenance tech is here 9am - 5pm once a week to address any issues that crop up for us or we outsource for anything more urgent. We will always do our best to help where we can and as quick as we can. If you need any assistance, or further clarification on anything, I am very happy to accommodate, come and see us :) The comment on noise surprises us and we do not get this often, be good to understand which building you face and if there was anything we could do to help here. I am sorry you have experienced this. Feel free to let us know and we will address. In terms of the heating in winter, we are very sorry to hear this, that is surprising actually as we do not hear a lot of resident having this issue. In some areas where the sun does not directly face you, you may find it is more shaded and not as warm. We can always look to assisting you with a spare heater free of charge?. Let us know and we will do what we can. I'm sorry I cannot address you by name as you have not provided. If there is ever anything you need, do not hesitate to contact the team, where we may not be able to fix everything immediately, we will do our very best to help. All the best and thank you for being an active part of The Saxons Community!
