Living near Queens Road Peckham has a real mix of positives and drawbacks. On the plus side, there’s a great choice of shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs within walking distance, and larger parks like Burgess Park and Peckham Rye nearby for green space. Transport links are excellent, with the Overground, fast trains to central London and plenty of buses. On the downside, parking is quite limited, traffic and rail noise are noticeable, and the main road can feel busy at times. Bin collections are fairly reliable, and while there’s the occasional issue with noise or anti-social behaviour, the area overall feels lively, diverse and well-connected.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has generally been responsive, addressing issues in a timely manner, though sometimes follow-ups are needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how limited the parking can be and how noticeable the traffic and rail noise is at certain times of day—things you don’t really pick up on during a short viewing. On the positive side, I also hadn’t realised just how handy the transport links would be, making commuting far easier than expected.

Love the local area and how many places there are to go for food and drinks. Also transport is great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly - so attentive to everything that we ask about being helped with.

How great the area is and how easy the links are. Love how many good restaurants there are and how many good pubs are so local.

I love everything about the area the community is welcoming and the transportation links are so handy

Quickly and efficiently i have never raised an issue that wasnt acknowledged within 24 hours

How to set up the water but once i found out it was very easy

Living in this community has been a really good experience overall. The best part is the friendly atmosphere – people look out for each other, and there’s a real sense of belonging. It’s also convenient with local shops and green spaces close by, which makes day-to-day life easy and enjoyable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have replied to everything and been great.

Nothing everything had been very good no complaints

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love living in Peckham. It’s got the best clubs the best food restaurants and shops you actually cannot beat Peckham as a place to live. We’ve got Prince of Peckham as a place to go out you’ve got Lidl times two up the road I don’t drive but every time I’ve needed to get parking for my friends I’ve sorted it. There’s been rooms never any antisocial behaviour and it’s pretty quiet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Things get sorted in the same week that you need it never have any complaints to be quite honest.
