We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

I specifically like the fact that there are some affordable housing such as our own. The overall appeal of the estate is very nice. A few red brick houses such as ours but majority are cotswold stone that are in keeping with the town. I cannot personally comment on the management as we dont deal with them specifically but i have heard a mixture of good and bad.

The development is like being crammed in like sardines. It’s seems as if the developer is only interested in putting as many houses onto a particular area than actually making decent housing. The after care is so poor it’s rare to ever have any snags sorted. The facilities on the development are so poor. The pathetic excuse of a play park is still unusable and there is one public bin for the whole estate. The green areas are not managed whatsoever and the development looks like a complete dump. Do not buy a home from Miller homes.

Customer care is unfortunately very hard to get hold of, and when you do finally get through nothing ever happens. Miller homes are extremely unhelpful, site manager Richard Culpan never answers phone/ emails or replies. Overall the development has a nice feel however, with regard to occupants and design

Lots of problems on moving in, Snagging list as long as your arm. Issues took quite a while & many meetings to address. Boundary had to be moved so we lost some of our garden. Wooden windows are a problem for maintenance. Landscaping is presently very poor across the site. Children's Playground is un-usable and only suitable for very small children. Fleecehold scheme in place for estate management. Lack of environmentally sustainable features, renewable energy, rainwater harvesting etc. even simple things like water-butts for the gardens.

the estate is well designed, a good mix of style of houses. well thought out parking and paving etc. well managed and provided support where needed. Allotments and small park with open space located to divide from old estate at the rear of the development.
