Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good aspects - we have an exceptional view to the front of our Anwyl property. Local shops in Wellington are good. Easy access to the motorway and surrounding towns. Estate roads are too narrow and there is no visitor parking other than on an already narrow road causing obstructions particularly on bends. Road has not been surfaced yet and no idea when it will be. Sunken drains causing nasty dips in road along with potholes which are not maintained. Footpath is lethal. We have now had lamp posts installed for 12 months but never switched on! What is going on? If I thought I could get a straight answer I would ask but Anwyl blame Bovis and Bovis blame Western Power and Western Power blame Bovis! They should all be politicians! All talk no action. On other sites the play areas are finished half way through the build phases but not here. Anwyl have left the site and Bovis as good as have so what chance is there of getting a date for road and paths? Not that you can believe anything either of them say. BS from day one.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Badly on the whole. Most things have been a fight and had to chase a lot of the time to get things done. Organisation was non-existent both with the builds and the aftercare. It should not take constant calls and 14 months and counting to get snags and other issues dealt with. Flooring and kitchen choices were very limited and poor.

Every answer you get use reverse psychology and then you will have the truth. The only truth we got was the lovely view we have but the management of it is another story. They will tell you anything you want to hear to sell you their properties. They will make you feel special but you really aren't. Money first!

There isn't anything good about this site.

Still working through them 15 months later. They have responded to some and refused others

How bad Bovis are - would never have moved here

I lived in the area when I was a child so to buy a house on the estate meant alot to me. The houses are expensive yet the after care from both Bovis and Anwyl head office is disgusting. The play area for the children was supposed to have been completed by now but hasnt even been started yet. The roads are terrible and again Bovis the main builder does nothing to repairs holes in the road. The residents of Haygate Fields have emailed head office to get answers but again no reply and all Anwyl say is that it is Bovis that are responsible. That may be the case but alot of people bought Anwyl homes so expect what they were told would be on the estate. Otherwise we are sure this could be seen as Mis-sold. The estate and house will be lovely in years to come but thats when the builders have gone and the home owners have done repairs to their own homes .

They have not responed to the emails sent with answers. They sent an email to say they would respond to us in 14 days but still havent after one month.

If alot of us had been told the truth when we were enquiring about the esate then neither of the builders would have sold the houses. Lovely area and always has been but Bovis and Anwyl have ruined the area.

Transport links are brilliant that’s what’s why I chose this house for the convenience of the motorway being so close. Parking isn’t brilliant for visitors , living here is very quiet and views are fantastic.

Still waiting about an aerial problem in the loft to be looked at

I have everything on my door step which is great it is very quiet and has lovely people

Yes but they still haven’t come and out and sorted it
