Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Within walking distance of a Sainsbury’s Local, The Forge pub and a chip shop. Morrison’s supermarket is a short drive away and there are good local bus services to Merryhill shopping centre with lots of good quality shops and places to eat. Homes all have drives for parking 2 cars. There are regular weekly bin collections and recycling is collected every other week. We don’t need schools but there are at least two in the locality. Easy access to Russell’s Hall hospital if required too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Some issues have been resolved quickly eg the bannister came loose! However, 16 months on we are still waiting for an internal door to be replaced as it was warped and doesn’t close properly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We found the garden had very little actual topsoil added, the grass had been laid on clay so is steeply sloping and boggy. Suggest the buyer checks out the rear garden carefully!

Good range of shops, schools and restaurants, nearby park, bus transport links, quiet area, no noise

We did not get to choose any options for our new house.

Good storage space in kitchen, spacious landing and hallway

Excellent range of restaurants and takeaways in Kingswinford area, there are also a plethora of pubs (non of which are much use due to Covid lockdown) Main bus route just round corner, plenty of supermarkets for food shop and also local butchers, bakers and veg shop. Bin collections are prompt. Very little traffic noise and very little noise from the trading estate or tile yard we are next too. No anti-social behaviour that I’ve noticed. Everyone on estate so far is very pleasant,

How bad the drainage on back garden is, it’s been waterlogged all winter and even flooded into slabs. Will be glad to get it sorted this spring

A bit more storage would be good, and to not have odd bits of boxing in awkward places
