Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Love that it's right across a M&S and near an Aldi too, makes grocery shopping very convenient. It's also only a 2min walk from the tram stop and bus interchange, although I wish it was closer to the railway station too. Parking is unfortunately an additional £80 per month and in a public carpark but at least they do offer it. Wish there was a bin chute instead of having to go down to the communal bin area. There's also fireworks going off every week for some reason and church bells going off all the time which can be a bit annoying if you just want a quiet night but it hasn't bothered me too much.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Not had any problems or issues so far! But I'm sure it would get sorted out quickly if I did.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The heaters creak so much throughout the day, sometimes I turn it off at night because it gets quite annoying/loud. I thought it was because it was new and it'd stop eventually but it's still been going on. Also probably because of the terraces but the rain and wind can get quite loud. There's not many activities/new eateries around so sometimes it does feel quite boring and if you want to venture into Manchester it takes 1h to get to by tram. I also wish I'd known if the unit above me has a pet - I suspect it does because I can hear the dog scratching/running all the time which isn't ideal.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I find this area very quiet, I like living here. Because I don’t drive, it’s quite a journey getting into town but I don’t mind that much.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They responded quickly, the fastest I’ve seen to be honest. The EPC of the building is very good so I don’t spend too much on heating even in winter.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I knew this before moving but I just wish there was underground parking and a gym. Then this property would have been a 1000/10 for me.

Good place to live but a bit expensive for the area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
These apartments are very close to the riverside shopping area, which is good although at night it can get a bit loud with shouting etc. The apartment blocks themselves are situated in a good area as its close to motorways and tram links etc which is beneficial although during peak times expect traffic around the area (which you’d get in majority of places anyway). You can park at the m&s although it’s a £80 a month (at this moment of time) .
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They’ve responded fairly quickly and effectively with the maintenance guy sorting the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish that I’d known that the church bell nearby does ring throughout the day (working at home could be an issue).

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Upperbanks is in an ideal location for anyone that enjoys being a stone’s throw away from both shopping and socialising. I can’t think of anything that isn’t literally on your doorstep.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They showed me how everything works first time of asking.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How to work the shower to save having a few cold ones.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has been really convenient. There are plenty of local shops, restaurants, and supermarkets close by, which makes day-to-day life easy. The transport links are great too, buses and trams are very accessible and reliable. The area feels safe and secure, and so far I haven’t had any issues with noise or anti-social behaviour. overall it’s a very good location.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team have been really responsive and helpful. Whenever we had any questions, they replied quickly and made sure things were sorted. It feels reassuring to know they take residents’ concerns seriously.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how smooth and well-organised the move-in process would be — it would have saved me some stress beforehand! Also, I didn’t realise how convenient the location really is until after moving in. Everything from shops to transport links is so close, which has made settling in much easier.
