We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

The buildings are modern with nice facade and relatively large balconies. It's still wait-and-see for the results of the replacement of all cladding, which may change the look of the buildings. The flats are situated around a central square, with some coffee shops and a library.

Barratts are a business that is taxpayer funded: help to buy has allowed CEO David Thomas to rake in 3.6m in 2019 (a 900k pay rise!!!). This is all due to public subsidy of his business due to the Help to Buy scheme. My building in Dalston Square has wooden cladding. It's over 3 years since Grenfell and they still haven't fixed it (which they have a legal duty to do so). In fact they have done not a single piece of remediation on the development. So it's costing me 500 a month extra as I can't remortgage. In the three years since Glenfell they have made 50,000 homes and profited 2.5bn. And they can't fix the cladding? Their Chief executive, David Thomas and other senior staff including Gary Ennis, and Stephen Thompson all know about this (I've e-mailed them all separately and gone through various customer services channels) and have refused to give the compensation they morally (and legally if you read building regs) have to. STAY AWAY FROM BARRATT AND BUY FROM A SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPER!

Overall great development - always very clean, good management and good upkeep. Gym on the property is very convenient and the roof garden is also easy to access but both can get a bit crowded at peak times due to many residents.

Lovely new development with well-insulated apartments and in a fantastic location. Everything feels very new in terms of design which is great. The access to the gym and concierge service are a huge benefit. Location is fantastic - literally a hop, skip and jump to the overground station and it's very well-lit so you feel safe at night. Overall a great development to live.

The building is nice and clean. There is a private rooftop terrace, with a garden - although I have only been there once. The communal square is lovely in the summer time, with a really chill vibe. The apartment itself is nicely finished - a bit on the cheap side; like our carpets are not that great. The lay out of the rooms is a little bit strange - and there could have been some optimisations done to better have appropriate amounts of space in each room.
