The design is good, there’s a range of houses and I particularly like the green spaces and mature trees. A couple of the newly planted trees have died but I’m hoping that these will be replaced soon. Compared to most new build developments, this one is one of the nicer looking ones.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

With the A140 and NDR, it takes only a short amount of time to get to Norwich for a range of shops. The village also has a post office and pub. St. Faiths Centre is also great for classes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Although the area is rural, it takes barely any time to get to the centre of Norwich.

What is the best feature of your home:

The layout inside our home is very good, as are the quality of the bathrooms and kitchen. The developer provided Bosch appliances.

Really lovely small development, much preferred to the really large sites you see. Design wise w elite the layout of our home, however wish the hallway was hard floor rather than carpet due to being the entry way. This proves difficult when we have guests. I wish we could’ve laid the turf ourselves that we were gifted as the ground is very uneven, was laid on top of lots of weeds (we saw before had in the viewing).

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have a local pub/restaurant, and a small post office but the trading hours aren’t very long, we could really do with a small supermarket (Tesco express/Sainsbury’s local etc), the bus service is very little, bus stop desperate needed on A140 for the more regular bus service, traffic noise on the A140 and NDR isn’t noticeable, beautiful village area which is rural but near direct links to the city.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we could’ve laid the turf ourselves that we were gifted.

What is the best feature of your home:

Great sized garden! Kitchen being the best feature, nice and bright, very open space

Our parking is nice because we have two spaces, however as it is not beside the house and it is opposite members of the public feel they can park there as if it is visitors parking. Snags seem to create more snags! After car is poor after 6 months.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s is very close to the city, only a couple minutes down the road. It is a lovely a peaceful area to live in, enjoy going for walks around the local community. There is not any shops close by, there is a small shop but it’s only limited hours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You pay x amount a year for, someone to cut the grass etc, and it is very poor and not well kept.

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen diner, we love the big space and how it opens into the garden.

Great development, very modern and good design. Layout of house is homely and flows comfortably. Good sized roads which are not overcrowded at present. We have really enjoyed settling into this development. Besides limited parking for guests, we couldn’t be happier. Developer on the whole have always been very prompt, professional and reliable in addressing any problems that have occurred. Have lots of confidence in this builder and would highly recommend.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good access to local shops, schools and petrol stations. Buses aren’t as frequent as neighbouring communities however in car nowhere is too far to get to. Great place to live, clean, safe and friendly. Limited parking for guests, car park allocation fairly specific to home owners. Bin collections are regular and reliable. Lovely village, very welcoming and encouraging for people to get involved with local village social activities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, always very efficiently. Easy to understand process of reporting, put together in welcome pack.

The development is lovely with so many established trees and nice house design. The quality of the houses (both inside and out) matches the standard of other more expensive developers. All houses have decent size gardens, much bigger than typical new build developments. The sales team have been amazing. Diane goes above and beyond for her customers and seems to genuinely care about their experience. The customer care team are not so helpful and are very unapologetic about considerably long delays. The site management isn’t as good as the previous site we lived on with a different developer. Lorries block the road multiple times each day, workers used to block driveways and have been known to park on lawns. I would think this was just part of the experience of living on a development under construction however we saw this managed a lot more considerately on a previous development which had less space available.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s great being so close to Norwich yet also being close to the countryside and green spaces. All driveways fit at least two cars so on street parking is good (except from site staff). The neighbours all seem lovely.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Often extremely slowly, even with one major issue.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just how convenient the location is. It’s so easy to drive into the centre of Norwich.
