I love the aesthetics of the apartment, including the balcony feature and grey theme. I also appreciate that there is carpet only in the bedroom, and that there is such a large parking space. I am very grateful to the management for their efficiency.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s close to all amenities that we need - a post office, groceries, petrol station, parks and restaurants.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded promptly and appropriately, and have been reliable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not sure - it was a pretty transparent viewing. Maybe it would be that not all apartments in the building look the same.

Great studio living

Management is really helpful and responses to queries quickly. The building design is well thought out and practical, differing from your standard studio format by having a separate kitchen to make it feel more like an apartment. Facilities such as the bathroom are very high quality

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good transport links to the centre, access to supermarket, there is good parking and the area is quiet

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When problems have arisen with the electrical Items management has been quick to respond and repair

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As I did a virtual viewing I was unaware of the area so more insight into this would be useful

The apartments are small but comfortable.

I think the building is well designed. There isn't much storage capacity but I'm afraid the prices in Cambridge are so high that every inch of space is expensive. The property manager is very responsive and helpful and I never had a problem that went unheard.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area doesn't offer much. It's very quiet though, which is a plus for me. Unfortunately the public transport isn't great in Cambridge, which in general makes moving around (without a bike) quite annoying.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building manager has always been responsive and has taken action quickly to any issues or queries I've had.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Probably the fact that in the area there isn't much, particularly the only supermarket around is a Waitrose, which is very expensive. Also that the internet connection isn't very fast because we still don't have fiber.

Good area and property

We are quite happy with the property management and with the property it self. But the property is quite cold, even when the windows are closed. It has a modern design and it is equipped with modern appliances. There is parking spaces available and bike storage facilities.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is nice and calm. A bit expensive area and there is only one bus that services this part, which can cause some delays. Internet and phone service are also a big problem as there isn’t much signal. There’s only one supermarket close but it’s easy to have things delivered. But so far it has been a nice place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So far they have been really approachable and helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bad signal in the area and the internet service.

Great place to live

The building feels well designed. It is sound proofed enough that we rarely hear our neighbours. There is no security person but I believe there are cameras around. Bikes are locked up in a covered shed which means they don’t get stolen. The property managers have repaired everything so far that has broken (just fuses and a blocked washing machine) very quickly

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s a good selection of local supermarkets, especially now the sainsburies has opened. There’s many pubs nearby but you’ll have to travel at least 15 minutes by bike to find restaurants. There’s a number of nearby buses into town, and the cycle lane to the train station (about 15 mins by bike). The area is quiet, the building is well sound proofed. The bin collections could be more frequent as rubbish builds up later in the week.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So far every issue we have reported has been fixed quickly (within a week). They even reply on evenings and weekends

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The building is quiet and pretty warm in the winter. Our apartment stayed cool last summer.
