Well built and well managed property

Well built and well designed development . I wish it was allowed to let the clothes dry outside on the terrace when the day is sunny and warm. The electricity would be cheaper when you use clothes dryer and would be more eco. I feel safe living here, we have a concierge and many cameras. For the kids there is a playground with swings and they are soon opening a new one in the garden which is now closed.

I like the area a lot because it is close to my daughter’s school, I dislike that there is no allotment for the gardens and we can not gain access to the main road or the station because the pathway is closed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the pathway was closed, it was just behind the school and this was one of the reasons we have chosen this development. We thought we didn’t have to walk all the way round to go to the school. It is frustrating that there is no closer access. I wish they had a bus stop outside as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Usually they are quite responsive and efficient, I am happy with the service they provide.

I think it is a well managed building for the price we are paying, the built is of good quality too, I like the interior of the properties as well. My flat is spacious, luxurious and very cosy. I love my bedroom because I have my TV and my books there.

I dislike the noise coming from the road, I like the way the area is developing, there are installing a range of shops and many new amenities.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish it was more of a community in here. You can hardly see anybody. I wish there were some activities for the community taking place

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would change the hot water meter, we end up paying so much, the bills can get pricey

Flats with big rooms

I think it’s a decent development, it’s modern, clean and light. My building is always kept clean. However, the parking is a huge issue: there’s not enough space for parking, and it’s very expensive. I actually have to rent space from another development nearby. My building block has no access to the gym. I tried to ask for a membership for the main gym but management said it’s not possible.

It’s a great area with good transport links. It’s quite peaceful and green and quiet around here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The developers and sales team were really clear about what I was being offered- so no complaints.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have, in general they are pretty proactive with problems. There are small issues such as getting new key fobs, it’s taken 3 months for my flat mate to get a new one.

Well built and well designed building but with no nightlife

Well built and well designed building, the management is not superb, the flat above mine got flooded and the maintenance haven’t fixed mine yet for 2 months now. They are not very efficient. My neighbours are nice and quiet, however, some of them can get a bit messy.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It is a nice area, however, it doesn’t have a lot of nightlife going on so it gets a bit boring. The shops are scarce too.

I knew everything, I did the viewing, they showed me everything

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I wouldn’t change anything within the flat, I live in a one bedroom flat and it is quite spacious inside.

Nice environment to live in

I find the development clean and modern, but there are a few issues. The concierge team are great- really friendly and kind. But it can be difficult to get in touch with the management and customer serve teams.

The flat is really nice, it’s light and modern and generally very slick.

It’s very spacious with lots of green areas. Colindale is missing a proper high street but it has quite good transport links

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We are still waiting for the quicker access to the Train station- they are keeping quiet about this.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As mentioned before, they are difficult to get hold of, and while they can be proactive with some things, some problems take ages to fix.

Cosmopolitan area with good transport links

The management is okay but it could be better. The building itself is built very well, the maintenance could be a bit better, for example, we had indoor entry systems doors not closing properly , those issues have been ongoing, on and off for a very long time.

Colindale is a cosmopolitan area with good transport links, I take the underground to Moorgate and it takes me around 90 minutes to get there.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The difficulties with the parking, the lack of car parking is a real issue, you get charged every hour, there is no residence parking permit

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would change the parking. I wish they have done something reasonable, we would have not expected to have family and friends around with encurring huge costs.

The development is clean and attractive, the hallways are always warm, clean and quiet. The flat came furnished and the design was minimal and simplistic, which we like; it easy to live in. Maybe some of the appliances in the apartment are slightly low quality, after the year we’ve been here, a few things are showing wear, but nothing worrying.

The concierge are really helpful and it’s great not to have to go to the post office to pick up deliveries since it’s quite far away. The gym is also great, and makes the development better value for money.

The area is slightly quiet- too quiet for young people maybe- but it’s super safe. This is super important. You can also have. Great nice sleep. The tube is close as well

Nothing surprised us, except maybe in a good way, the bills and electricity is less than we expect because the building has been so well designed and insulation is perfect.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management are always helpful. We haven’t had any issues with the flat but they are easy to get in touch with if we did.

The flat was finished to a decent standard and I like the development.

However, there have been a few issues. I was trying to purchase a parking space but they had already sold them off to residents of other blocks. Therefore I have to pay an extra fee each each year to park on the road.

The concierge are good and really friendly, but the customer service is not great. You have to chase them with your queries- it’s not only me that feels this.

The area is good, it’s green. The transport is great

The sales team told me there would be an access opened up to the train station within two months. This is still not available.

What is the best feature of your home:

There is underground heating and all of appliances are a very decent quality.

Well designed and well built development

It is a well designed and well built development of outstanding built quality, built only a year ago. In terms of facilities, we have the reception at one of the buildings, a gym, a parking and a cleaner that comes pretty often. The concierge receive my parcels and I can later on pick them from the reception which is quite handy.

I like the area because it is so quiet and the neighbours are very friendly , it is safe as well because we have the police school just in front of us .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I like the building, I feel safe living here and everything is living up to my expectations.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

One of the elevators is not working and I would prefer having the second one fixed as soon as possible because it takes a while to take the lifts during peak hours.

Great for students

The development is very clean a has everything. It has a 24hr concierge who are friendly and helpful- if we have an issue they are always here to help.

The flat was furnished and is very well presented. It’s all been done to a top standard.

The area is beautiful. It’s close to everything. I use the buses and underground and it’s all very easy to access.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only problem was the internet service; we had to do an instalment since there wasn’t any. This meant we had to contact the landlord which was bit tricky since they live abroad. But this wasn’t a huge problem.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would like to be nearer to a large supermarket. There is an Aldi but it’s a bit far to walk

The building management could be improved

The build is of good quality but the maintenance team are very slow and the management is not always responsive to our complaints. The rubbish collection also has not been on time, the bins are often left full, the neighbours are a bit messy, throwing the plastics and the cigarette butts outside the bins. There is only one recycling bin and this is not enough. It would be nice to have a separate recycling bins for bottles, plastic and carbons. The gardens have a boring design, it would have been nice to paint the decoration in more colours, not only in purple.

Not many buses going in and out, not very good in terms of connections , there are no grocery stores nearby, it is 10 minutes walk to the nearest one, it is better if they would build at least a small Tesco express close by.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the rubbish collection and how slow it would be.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would improve the garden by making it more attractive in terms of design. I wish the management was also more assertive on the complaints we make and not leaving most of them unresolved.
