Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is a wonderful area to live in. It has outstanding schools,a lovely town centre with lots of shops,florists,gift shops etc. We have a train station in the town centre too. Lovely countryside walks and woods to explore.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are quite slow to respond and have come out to the same issue more than once which I wish they'd just sorted properly in the first place.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish the build quality was a bit higher. There doesn't seem to be much attention to detail unfortunately and the estate has been left in an unfinished state.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lower Hopton is a beautiful area of Mirfield, lots of shops and cafes nearby. Train station located nearby, with links to London, Leeds and Manchester. The street does need re tarmacking, which I have been told that will be done at some point. The roads are quite thin meaning there is a lot of give ways to be had.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Recently they have been OK with response to my concern over the roads.

The flooding under the tunnel. Extremely dangerous.

Good distance from mirfield and got most things needed st walking distance

Really good site manager Shaun helped out loads!!!

Close to central mirfield for shops, cafes, pubs and the train station. We have a drive to park on. Parking on the bends by the care home is a small issue. No problem with bin collections. Takes a while to get bins in first instance. No anti social behaviour, relatively quiet. The train track being around 100m from us is not really a problem either.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

This has been mixed. Still waiting for some issues to be fixed eg had a faulty boilerhouse door when we moved in. Noted in inspection. Note on door -ordered in may. Still waiting for door. Apparently this has been ordered 3 times now. Not sure what happens when ordered but still waiting. Other side. We had issues with doors/windows and thisbhas been dealt with

The internet. We were told we couldn't have anyone but bt for 18 months . Other neighbours have different information-not sure where sourced from

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is lovely and it is a nice little community. I have lived in Mirfield most of my life and love it. It has everything you need locally. Transport is very close. There are plenty of grocery shops and bars and pubs etc. There is some antisocial behaviour mainly from teenagers in some areas of Mirfield.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Problems have been dealt with fairly quickly and sorted out.

Make sure the snagging is actually done. More notice on receiving keys needed.
