Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area needs more shops and restaurants. It needs a city centre that is more like Hitchin. The high street needs investment. Well located for London and Cambridge.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick responses. Very helpful. Sending trades to fix minor snags at convenient times. John Benton and Sandra Mills especially have been excellent.

Full layout of all phases of the development, so you can better picture the layout.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really close to the train station (but you don't really hear the trains) and either a 20/30 min walk into town or a short bus/drive/taxi journey away. Parking ok but may get difficult as more houses move in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All issues raised have been dealt with, occasionally takes some time to respond but overall positive experience

Make sure you note down all your snags to raise with the developer, don't wait for them to ask you!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is nothing good. Nothing. No facilities yet, no idea what facilities will be implemented. The layout of this estate is a disaster and there is no proper access to my property as infrastructure elements still haven't been done or have actually been cancelled since i moved in. I can't receive deliveries as no-one can find my house despite it being clearly visible - there's no road signs and a total lack of access even if there were. Appalling.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very badly - they deny and dismiss almost everything except where I can absolutely demonstrated I can take legal action on a given issue. This is literally the only way to progress with Cala. Good luck with that. I was the first to move into this estate and I will be the first to move out - in a couple of months.

I wish I had know that Cala were liars.
