Cafe fields is a lovely, quiet development. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, location would benefit from a few more shops a mini express supermarket.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Will need a car for any travel to ware/buntingford for supplies/groceries. No rail network. Is very near to the main road of a10.

What is the best feature of your home:

The finish of doors and flooring, good allocating parking.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s a quiet village, so you do need a car to get places for shopping etc. however it is a lovely village and local amenities are not too far away. Local transport is very hit and miss, however I have a car so knowledge on this is limited as I’ve never used it. There has not been any antisocial behaviour that I am aware of. There is plenty of off street parking and for my property we have a designated car park with designated spaces which is a great help.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You need a car in order to access local amenities, local transport is very limited and although there are 2 convenience stores within walking distance they only stock basic necessities and nappies are not among these. Also neither store is pushchair or wheelchair accessible so not the easiest to access with a young baby. The local pubs are all family friendly and do food, which all have a good reputation. Limited take away options due to the position. Deliveroo and Uber Eats do not work here only Just Eat.

What is the best feature of your home:

The amount of cupboard space, particularly in the kitchen means storage is not an issue.

Very quite and peaceful area to live, local fuel station and shop around 10-15 minute walk.

Broadband speeds are very very good

The Enclosed garden, and the spacious front room..
