Build design excellent,well thought out estate. The worst problem:- Turning our beautiful green and duck pond into a temporary car park!!!!!!!! Such a bad decision by Millers, it is the JEWEL of the development and main feature. Why destroy it for even 9 months whilst the last few houses are built? There is space around the sales office and other areas hardly used, where staff could park! The pond, we fear for the nesting ducks,moorhens and frogs which are well established and also use the green for food. The letter we received on 29/03/22 is very poor simply informing us of your intention and informally signed site managers. The green has at the same time been marked in blue dye to show a large area destined to be ruined,eg the view over the green and pond from our windows! Please alter your plan, we are shocked at this proposal!!

Parking is ok but an enormous amount of dust from the site, some dog fouling on the green. The area is very good

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not had an answer from building management for my concerns, I have spoken to the site managers and sent emails. I also made a complaint by telephone

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were told by the sales team several times, that the Green would NEVER be built on (even for 9 months). No planning has ever been put forward for this dire plan!

The design of the house and its layout is actually good in the sense that as many rooms have been made possible for the size of property but at the cost of the size of room being very small. The building management I would not say do a great job. Often slow to respond to requests or follow up on repairs. The property management hounded me about my mortgage in one day I had 4 phone calls from different staff!

This is a company who scrimp and scape at every cost saving tiny corner they can. Door handles the paint is coming off after one year, outside light rusty and cant change the bulb. Only one toilet has a soft closing lid. Its all the little things that give me the impression of poor quality. Even the roof tiles don't match as they selected from two different batches, something you would have thought a building company would check first! The garden has probably 2cm of top soil laid down and floods every time it rains.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Still waiting to hear about the roof tiles two years later! this is a company that's very good at not getting back to you!

We were told that building work does not start before 8am, but they are here around 7am beeping and banging every day.

Didn’t have any major problems with our house and the design and size is perfect as first time buyers. Everyone involved in the process was good & when we had a few very small issues such as a cracked kitchen cupboard door it was fixed very quickly. The layout of the development is good and doesn’t feel as crowded as a lot of new build developments do.

Very quiet area - Nice street to live on but not many local shops, restaurants or bars in walking distance

Property was perfect, everything was what I wanted in a first home. Everything was perfect and I am happy I moved here. Everyone is polite in the neighbourhood, my home has many conforts to it. I am happy with the area I live in. Unfortunately sometimes my neighbours can be loud and tend to party alot on a Saturday and Sunday night which is difficult for me as I work long hours and like to go to bed early but it's impossible when you have people partying until 2am

They have sent someone out to visited and advised someone will come out to fix it all.

The design of the home is nice, it is very simple yet very modern too. The layout is great and very efficient for getting around the house. The room sizes are great, they are all larger than our previous homes. The three toilets/ bathrooms are all very spacious and large in size. The gardens are all a good size and the front gardens even come with nice bushes. The building management have been good so far, they respond to any minor problems straight away and get it fixed for as soon as possible.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This development is at the top of Church Road, Warton. There is a local pub located right outside the development. It's around a 5-10 minute walk into Warton town where you can find a few local shops. You are also not too far from Lytham and Freckleton which is great for shops and food. There is a local bus on Lytham Road which is a five minute walk that will take you to Preston or Blackpool. There is plenty of parking spaces on the development and everyone so far has their allocated spots. There is no traffic noise. Overall the development has been quiet and all neighbours are friendly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded quick and efficiently everytime.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Being in a building site can be quite noisy, especially in the morning.
