We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Development design is nice, poor design to some houses access though. Facilities are poor, we only have the shop recently opened. No other shops have opened or look like they will. It appears the developer has done little to attract any business. Factoring management is shambolic and incompetent. Very unclear from Barratt handover to James Gibb where responsibility lay, unclear also from sales that there are two factoring fees to pay. One for your part of the development, one for the overall development via two different systems.

Well designed with lots of open walk ways and green space. Once development is complete there needs to be more facilities such as more shops, cafes & a chemist. Factoring company are poor. Unable to get invoicing correct so should be removed.

Design of homes are generally good. Some streets are quite narrow though. Facilities quite poor as indicated in previous question. Barratt as a house builder are good to deal with. Issues usually resolved quickly. Property management from factor firm initially disappointing. Things do appear to be improving. Don’t generally agree with factor firms maintaining streets. We pay a lot of council tax - it should be the council’s responsibility.

Barrett have a fantastic team, the process of buying was great, we were kept up to date every step of the way and any initial snagging with our property was dealt with in a timely manor. We were allowed to visit the property as many times as needed prior to moving in which was lovely.

Barratt have been good at coming to look at any issues. James Gibb have been terrible. Poor communication, poor billing, poor user portals. We like the design of the development, and hope it's seen through to completion. It would be nice having a pedestrian route towards cults.
