Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our home is located at Banbury Rise in Oxfordshire. There are plenty of amenities in Banbury town centre. However, there is not a convenience store on the development and some in the nearby area are anti social. It is near a school and bus stops.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the price of flooring through the developer - that is our only issue. We decided external for our carpets and flooring.

What is the best feature of your home:

Definitely the beautiful French doors and spacious kitchen!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location. Nice houses. Good site team. Low traffic. No problems. Good craftsman shop internally and snagging minimal.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and to standard. Good communication at all times.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Specific Neighbours can sometimes tarnish an otherwise perfectly enjoyable experience. No antisocial behaviour as such just really annoying characters.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very disappointed with the estate the landscapeing is a disgrace a complete mess. Suppose to have a wild flower meadow in front of my house. Not seen one flower just weeds. No lighting on pathways, very few bins,and bloor mislead new buyers with pictures of beautiful landscapeing which is misleading. Motor bikes running wild on the estate on public paths.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded after many phone calls. Not quick to respond always seems to be a fight

The landscapeing very poor a complete mess compared to other estates

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Having a car is an asset at Banbury Rise as it is on the outskirts of Banbury. However, there is a good bus service for those who dont drive. Banbury has got all the amenities you could ask for and you can get grocery deliveries from all the major supermarkets, so it is well catered for.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had one particular niggle. A couple of poorly fitting/twisted manhole covers that clunked every time a vehicle drove over them. This would wake you up throughout the night and first thing in the morning as people were heading off to work at different times. This issue was raised early in my ownership and a fix was quickly conducted. However, this turned out to be temporary as the issue returned. This happened on several occasions until, finally, the covers and their metal frames were replaced. In total, nearly 3 years worth of being woken up unnecessarily on an almost daily basis. I feel the problem should have been properly dealt with far, far, sooner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how long it was going to take for the other access road to be operational. In fairness, when I looked at the site plans I could see the two access roads but didn't consider that there would be such a long gap between them being available for residents to use. Im sure the information would have been forthcoming if I had thought to ask.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We love living in the Banbury area. It’s extremely well equipped with shops and restaurants and very easy to get to the big cities or the near by cotswolds areas.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been good and have rectified any issues we have had.
