Great flat and facilities in a convenient location

Verified Resident

Everything in the flat is of good quality egg design no waste of space, can’t hearemember neighbours
Like a lot of facilities and 24/7 concierge who is very good, communal room which you can book, proper rooftop that all can access, gym is a good size

Dislike is there’s a lot of echos around the block was woken up by a cough from a different flat

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Like everything is changing and up and coming no new shops etc
Dislike is change causes noise pollution and the shopping centre is falling apart so it needs to be changed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They said that neighbouring buildingso and shops would be done but they’re not

10/10

Verified Resident

Still a lot of construction going on, feels a bit quiet because it’s not done yet
Flat is spacious and quiet and no noise complaints
Rooftop gets overbooked without people using it sometimes so it could be more flexible, gym gets packed so it could be bigger

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Convenience, close to centre, Burgess park is clean, safe and close
Lack of restaurants and bars

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing comes to mind, I felt like I was well informed- no surprises

Good location but needs to be more green

Verified Resident

Service charge with a lack of explanation, issues with communication and notifications especially with fire separation
Insulation is great so thats good for sustainability
13 floors up so i don’t get much of street traffic noise pollution
However, a sports bar is opening close by soon so i now have concerns about potential noise

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Like that it’s connected to center of town, don’t like that there aren’t as many parks and green spaces in comparison to North London where I previously lived

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Problems with plumbing but wouldn’t say misinformed about the area

Love the brickwork

Verified Resident

Love the brick work it’s beautiful, it’s central to the tube and transport is amazing, catches the sun nicely so it’s well lit, it’s noisy but It’s central London so it’s to be expected
It’s spacious

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Promised local companies that aren’t there yet
A lot of greenery and landscape and looks clean
Feel safe, all likes

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How long the development would take, it’s very delayed, prefer a more realistic timeline

Part of the Elephant Park redevelopment scheme, Baldwin Point is a great prospect in Southwark

Baldwin Point is a residential apartment block in Elephant and Castle. It’s part of the large-scale Elephant Park redevelopment scheme, and forms part of the South Gardens area – the first phase of the project to be completed. South Gardens features a total of 360 new homes, from one and two-bedroom apartments in Baldwin Point itself, to surrounding low-rise townhouses and three and four-bedroom properties.

Residents of Baldwin Point can expect fresh, ultra-modern apartments with open plan living spaces and sleek fitted kitchens. Things like oak wooden floors and underfloor heating add a touch of luxury, and private balconies open up widescreen city views. Residents can also benefit from a 24-hour concierge, residents’ gym, shared gardens and a roof terrace on South Garden Court.

The wider redevelopment of Elephant and Castle is transforming the local area by the day – Lendlease and Southwark Council have been working to deliver a £2.3 billion regeneration project here since 2010, so it’s rapidly becoming a more attractive prospect to tenants and homeowners.

Elephant Park is one of three key areas of regeneration – the others being Trafalgar Place and One The Elephant. The final completion date for all schemes in the redevelopment is predicted to be 2025, by which time the area will be unrecognisable.

For now, Baldwin Point residents can enjoy these brand new apartments with excellent transport links – Elephant & Castle station is less than five minutes’ walk from the property and offers both Underground services – on the Bank branch of the Northern line – and National Rail services, too.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Elephant Park is a vast redevelopment scheme set to transform the area of Elephant & Castle, with new residential properties and community leisure facilities appearing all the time.
