Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I love living here. Coal drops is like a little haven with greenery and cute shops – it's full of good vibes, cute family events, cultural events. It's clean, safe and having the canal is a blessing.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, everything single time. Specifically maintenance. They also disposed of my couch for me! It was amazing!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Booking the amenities is pricy, but it ensures exclusivity.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Kings Cross is buzzing with energy — endless cafes, cool restaurants, and quirky shops just around the corner. The pathway to Tapper Walk and park area is perfect for people-watching or if you are a dog owner like me, perfect place to stroll around. Transport is a dream with so many options, though rush hour feels like a game of human Tetris! The vibe is lively but mostly friendly, and you’ll never be bored living here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management is super quick to respond and always friendly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d known how lively the area gets on weekends—great for socialising but can be a bit noisy! Also, the building’s community events are awesome for meeting neighbours, so definitely get involved early. It really makes living here feel like home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area offers a nice variety of shops and some good restaurants, though the bar scene is a bit limited. There are several parks nearby, which are perfect for relaxing or jogging. Transport links are decent with regular buses, but trains can be delayed sometimes. On my street, parking is usually fine during the day but gets tight in the evenings. Bin collections are reliable, and overall, it’s a quiet neighborhood with minimal noise or disturbances.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The concierge are always available 24/7 to assist and quickly follows up and resolves anything with the managment
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I believe I had the best time and enough time to enjoy my time at Author, getting to know new people and making me feel like home away from home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the area has its pros and cons. There’s a decent mix of local shops and independent cafes nearby, and a few good restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Green spaces are close too, which is great for a quick walk or some fresh air. Public transport is fairly reliable — buses run often and the nearest train station is not too far, though it can get crowded during peak times. On our street, parking can be hit or miss, especially in the evenings, and bins are collected regularly but occasionally left out too long. It’s generally a quiet neighbourhood, though we do hear occasional traffic noise. Anti-social behaviour isn’t a big issue, but weekends can sometimes get a bit lively. One standout positive is the concierge team — they’re always quick and efficient with any inquiries. Afrah, in particular, is especially helpful and consistently follows up to make sure everything is sorted. And not to mention, quick to open up the door in advance and also ready to hand you the parcel when you enter the building, it’s the simple stuff like this that makes this place special to live in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They address concerns quickly and keep me updated throughout.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wish I had more time to get to know all the fun activities and events around Kings Cross, they have some hidden gems!

The neighborhood has a good mix of essential shops and a few cozy restaurants, though nightlife options are limited. There are nice parks nearby for outdoor activities. Transport links are convenient with regular buses, but traffic can cause occasional delays. Parking on the street is a bit tricky during busy hours, but bin collections are timely. It’s generally a peaceful area with low noise and minimal anti-social behaviour. The concierge team is fantastic—always friendly and quick to help, with a special shoutout to Afrah who goes the extra mile every time!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management is like superheroes—they swoop in fast and fix things before you even finish explaining!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d known how surprisingly social the building is—people actually say hello in the lifts! Tip: claim your favorite spot in the work space early—it goes fast on Mondays & Friday WFH :)
