Not alot of reaturants nearby. Alot of police and ambulance pass by frequently. But its near city center which is amazing.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

One of the sole reasons my stay was smooth and enjoyable was thanks to Gareth. He was always responsive, happy to help, and very professional and kind. I really hope he is shown the gratitude he deserves. As well as Kwam, Samson, Q, Ralph, and Tony. All of them made sure I was taken care of for the whole year I stayed at Apo. They could not have done their jobs better.

Quite a long walk from University of Manchester…..

Living in this part of Liverpool has been a very positive experience overall. There is a good range of local shops, cafés, restaurants, and bars within walking distance, and the city centre is easily accessible. Transport links are convenient, with regular buses and nearby train connections. The area feels lively but generally well managed, with green spaces close by for walks and downtime. Street noise is reasonable for a city location, bins are collected reliably, and parking has been manageable. Overall, it’s a practical and enjoyable place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they have and the turnaround time is very fast.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I had liked that the building at the start was more filled with professionals, however as of the last year, it has been filled with more students – which are a bit noisier.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is great, good location, close to city centre. Good shops and parking availability in the building. The facilities man Sean Cowan was amazing when I had an issue with my appliance, he was speedy, friendly and all round a great service. I am super pleased.

No access to a big shop which is not via car, that is tricky for big shopping lists.

Had an issue with heating was sorter in half hour by Sean Cowan the legend. I’ve had no other issues

Sean Cowan gets the job done, any issues are always sorted quick.

That the internet was a bit slow apart from that it’s all good

Location couldn’t be any better. 5 minute walk from the main city centre. Loads of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops all within a stones throw.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues have had to be raised so far. Everything going smoothly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had paid attention to what comes with the flat. It is furnished but to a basic standard. There’s no cutlery, pots/pans, appliances (like a toaster/kettle) so make sure you come with all your kitchen utensils.
