I feel incredibly lucky to live in the heart of Ancoats. We're close to everything you could need in the city centre, with excellent transport links that make getting around for work or leisure super easy. If you enjoy a sociable lifestyle, Ancoats is ideal—home to some of the best bars and restaurants in Manchester. Plus, the nearby canals and marina offer beautiful walking spots right on your doorstep. It really is one of the best places to live in the city

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always responds within day and fixed in timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I do wish we had a gym that was accessible to residents.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ancoats is a vibrant area, just across the road from the buzzing Northern Quarter and walkable to the main stations Picadilly & Victoria. While New Islington Marina is only a 5minute walk away, a go to for an evening stroll. There are incredible independent places to grab a coffee as well as shop, eat and drink all within a stones throw.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Everything has been handled with upmost professionalism and speed! No complaints at all!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The social offerings that the building provides are great ways to meet people, wish I went to them earlier and met some of the fabulous people here!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ancoats it’s such a great area to live with lots to do nearby. It’s a great location within the city centre and ring road. I lived in Ancoats when I first moved and when I moved away I did miss the area and knew I would always want to come back. A great range of shops all in walking distance

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When raised it is always sorted very quickly and done with friendliness. It’s nice when the people who work for the building want to get it sorted too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I moved in on a Saturday and did feel like this did hinder our move in date regarding getting things set up such a WiFi. That being said we moved in during a management change with two staff leaving.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is really good, and it's one of the main reasons why I have lived here for over 3 years. I can walk everywhere (work, food shops, restraunts) and I rarely get public transport which is usually unheard of in a big city like manchester. I also feel very safe on this street and the area as it is amongst lots of main roads. The concierge in the building also means I always feel safe coming into the building and being in my flat.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven't had many problems in the 3 years I've lived here (which is great). Anything has usually been responded to quickly. However, any updates on the window situation could be better. Any news is usually through word of mouth. And rent reductions due to it could be made more well known as this might mean people would be more likely to stay.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the windows would cause it to be unlivably hot for 4 months every year

Anco is right in the centre of ancoats so it is so accessible. Everyone in the building is so lovely and friendly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In the past the building management wasn’t the best but it has really improved and issues are getting resolved a lot quicker than previously

I before moving I wish I would have known that the gym would not be open.
