Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We love being so close to the marina, and to all the shops, bars and restaurants. It’s only a five minute walk to Piccadilly gardens and train station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve had a couple of very minor issues and they were dealt with straight away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Slight issues with window condensation causing little pools of water

Manager response

Hi Anita, Thank you for your lovely review. Have a lovely Christmas,

Stylish living with an amazing team

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area is honestly amazing. The best area in town. It’s so close to town that everything feels easy – shops, food spots, and things to do are all just a quick walk away. There are loads of good places to eat, and the neighbourhood has a really friendly, local vibe that makes it feel comfortable and homely. If there’s anything not-so-great, it’s probably just that it can get a bit busy at times because it’s so close to town, and parking isn’t always the easiest.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been great whenever I’ve had any issues. They’re quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and always try to sort things out as smoothly as possible. It never feels like a hassle to reach out to them, and they keep you updated so you know exactly what’s happening. They're awesome!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I’d known before moving in is how much the people here shape the whole experience. You don’t really realise it on a viewing, but once you’re living here, you see how friendly and open everyone is. Getting to know your neighbours early genuinely makes a huge difference!

Manager response

Beautiful, Social Place to live

Raeann (Tenant)

Dec 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is great, right on top of some local shops, these are renowned to be expensive but a short walk to more affordable shops. Close to some of the citys best restaurants and bars. Transport is good for mainline travel across country at Piccadilly, closest metro link is a good 10minute walk. No local parking available without increased cost and if you do choose to park on the street you will get a ticket in certain hours and also run a risk of theft.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Like aforementioned, any issues you may have will be fixed within the same day or the next working day but this does exclude the issues with the windows. They supported me when I had my vehicle stollen from the property. I was made aware that the vehicle is left at own risk, but some future security should be looked into for the way the person gained access to the building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

This is a great place to live if you wish to be involved in a community that is social and makes you feel welcome. Whilst the local area is mostly safe be aware this is still city centre living and be cautious of any vehicles you have being parked around the area. Invest in some secure parking.

Manager response

Hi Raeann, Thank you for your lovely review, we are pleased that you are enjoying living with us at Anco&Co and the events which we host on site. We have lots of exciting events for next year too, so keep you eyes peeled. Thank you, Kerry

A brilliant place to live in the heart of Ancoats

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Ancoats has been a great experience. There are so many cafés, restaurants and green spaces within a few minutes walk and the marina is right around the corner. Transport links are very convenient since you are already in the city centre, although my street can get loud at times because of ambulances on the ring road. That is really the only downside and it feels like the trade off for being so central. Everything else is easy and accessible with supermarkets, gyms and local shops all very close.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has always responded quickly and professionally. Any maintenance request I have raised has been handled the same day and the team are friendly, helpful and easy to reach.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how loud the ring road can get in the summer when the windows are open. It is not unbearable but something to keep in mind if your apartment faces that side. Everything else has been a positive surprise especially how active and supportive the community and staff are.

Manager response
