Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great location in Salford, with the Manchester City Centre just a few minutes away and great connections to public transport, shops, and restaurants. Parking is a bit tricky if you own a car, but there are some places around you can pay monthly to keep your car (check YourParkingSpace app).
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issue reported is resolved in a very timely and professional manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The heating system is very bad and useless, at least for the 2 dorm flats, which are probably bigger than the electric radiator can handle.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There's a Tesco and bus linkages nearby - so that's handy. The rail station isn't well connected to other stations, so many transfers are required (unlike Oxford Rd and Piccadilly). The noise is awful because there is now major construction in the area at all times of day. I believe there are plans to build a number of apartment buildings in the area, so this is unlikely to go away anytime soon.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
No - I'm still waiting for repairs to be done months after the flood
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Look elsewhere - many buildings in the area are cheaper.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is great for any amenities especially with being within close proximity to Spinningfields. There are several options for supermarkets all within a 5-10 minute walk and despite being centrally located you do also get the luxury of being slightly out of the main of the centre meaning you still get the quiet evenings. The traffic noise from the back of the building can be heard at times such as the train, and more notably is the restaurant below.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues raised have been immediately resolved and the team has gone above and beyond to accommodate any repairs.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Knowing about the monthly events sooner could have been helpful as some book up quite quickly

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Affinity Living Riverside is honestly brilliant - you’ve got the perfect spot right in the heart of everything! The location is unbeatable, just a stone’s throw from Spinningfields with all its amazing restaurants like The Ivy, Tattu, and Dishoom right on your doorstep. There’s a lovely Tesco Express right next door which makes daily shopping super convenient, and being so close to the city centre means you can walk to work, shopping, and entertainment venues in minutes. The public transport links are fantastic too - Salford Central station is literally across the road, and Manchester Victoria is only an 8-minute walk away. The riverside location gives you that peaceful waterfront feeling while still being in the buzzing city centre. The building itself has incredible amenities - there’s unlimited free coffee, a cinema room, gym with free classes, co-working spaces, and regular resident events that help you meet your neighbours. Plus it’s completely pet-friendly with no size restrictions, which is rare to find in city centre apartments. The floor-to-ceiling windows give you stunning city views and loads of natural light. The main downside would be that parking can be quite expensive if you have a car, and during busy times you might have to wait a bit for the lifts since it’s a popular building. Some residents mention traffic noise from the nearby roads, but honestly, that’s just part of city living and you get used to it pretty quickly.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have had a couple issues in my flat since i moved but the building has been very supportive in handling those issues for me and bringing the maintenance at my door.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish i knew the storage in my kitchen is a bit less and the room types they show are demo ones not actual ones. I would strongly advise to come for a physical viewing as the property offers virtual viewing but physical one is important.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Fantastic location, friendly staff and pet friendly. Amenities are great, gym is good and building events are an added bonus! Maintenance is pretty slow, the lack of air con and poor water pressure are annoying.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, resolved some like broken sofa but not others like unusable bath.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Poor water pressure, aircon and air flow poor. Modern but not as modern and functioning as you’d expect.
