Really enjoying the lifestyle here – great views, staff and everything just works. Admin is minimal and a lot better than traditional tenant-landlord arrangements. Recommend this to all types of tenants – singles / students / young couples etc.” – Hleung, verified resident at Elephant Central

“My wife and I are in our 70s. We sold up a huge house to downsize and free ourselves from the burden of ownership. And what a great place to live. Masses to do, great transport for us and the grandchildren. Fantastic service from Get Living. We are just about to sign up for our second 3 year term.” – Neil H, verified resident at East Village

The home you always wanted

Review Date Sep 2020

Very helpful management. Took feedback into consideration and employed more security around. Very well managed parks and green spaces. Always keeping residents up to date on what’s happening in the area. Good furniture in the houses. Well laid out houses with good layout.
Only negative – the team are not very responsive all the time.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Absolutely love the community feel. It feels like you’re away from the bustle of London yet very well connected. You’re surrounded by convenience of local shops, the Westfield mall, grocery stores, NHS and a school. Super green which is a big plus. All in all, great Community for singles,
Couples, families, Babies, and even older people.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you ever need urgent assistance or they’re not responding to you, just drop by the office. They’re a busy lot. And before prices go up further book your home here now!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building mgmt and maintenance have been very prompt and responsive

Manager Response

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. We hope to continue serving you with the highest standards.

Zone 1 new-built with good transport connections

When I moved in 2 years ago, it was just opened for renting and no one lived here before. I really liked it! The rooms are spacious however the furniture isn’t really suitable for living in for the long term as there is not enough storage, also there is almost no flexibility from a landlord on bringing your own furniture to substitute theirs. Balconies are quite spacious but the flooring there is with some vigorous spacing and I don’t like it very much. The general design of communal spaces is very subtle and nice. I love the receptionists, always attentive and ready to help. It is very nice to have 24/7 security on site, make you feel safe. The property management is also very attentive however I do not like that they can access your apartment in your absence – this isn’t usually allowed nowhere and I always fight hard against it. However the most important thing for me here is that this development accepts pets which is rare in Zone 1

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It’s a very vibrant area with mixed nationalities all around and lots of young population living in. Mercato Metropolitano is the most popular place to go for a drink or inexpensive meal. A lot of new developments are in construction and the neighborhood is improving day by day

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Good connection to almost anywhere having London Bridge and Waterloo in a walking distance; Pets are welcome!

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Have an option of unfurnished or semi furnished apartment, have a storage, have a garage. Booking for the use of communal kitchen

Raglan House

We have a 1 bed flat in Raglan House and love the layout, design and style. Even though we have a one bed, we have plenty of storage/cupboard space which is great.

The property management are all really lovely and kind, all facilities are clean and easy to use.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

We have lived in the flat for a month and absolutely love it. Everything is really close and walking distance which is great. I do however drive to work and the development doesn’t have parking so I have to pay an additional cost (my own fault). There are plenty of nice little place to eat at!
My only bad comment would be the noise from the sirens. Unfortunately as we are right above the roundabout, noise travels up and the sirens never stop.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team have responded really quickly but we’ve not had an my problems or issues yet.

Lovely flat in SE1

The building itself is clean, modern and stylish. I believe the flats have a good decor, colour theme of grey with yellow hints is also enjoyable and trendy. The rooms came funrnished with great options including circular table and chairs, sofa and single arm chair and some bedroom fixtures.

I appreciate the kitchen design and use of light in the flat, the stylish fixtures and built in fridge and oven compliment the building to no end. The flooring is very nice and hard wearing. The heating elements work well.

I like the balcony size and the light that comes into the appartment.
The bedrroms are not huge but well sized for my taste and have a large wardrobe which provides great storage.

The bathroom is really a beautiful classy unit, which is the best selling point of the flat. There have been no issues in mine for my time here, and the sturdiness of fixtures provides a quality experience all round.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Elephant castle is undergoing a transformation and thus basic items like rubbish bins and tree plantings are encouraging quality living in the area. The soon demolition of the shopping centre will again only add value to the nearby properties. I for see continued improvements. What is a problem is the busy new kent road with one way system making exiting the area by road difficult. The lack of car parking available in the building also meant that there is a personal transport limitation on tenants but can be overcome by the great public transport links availble at our doorstep.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Probably about the lack of car parking space – so if you own a car you cant leave it elsewhere

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

very fast, effective and made a difference. The relationship managers are available and easily contactable when needed to resolve an issue

A great place to live

Really nice, modern apartment with a lovely balcony, the building itself is looked after really nicely and has a clubroom where they hold nice events and a communal outdoor area where there are free fitness classes 3 x a week which is amazing. Storage for bike, plus the BringMe lockers for parcels is great too. My biggest complaint about my flat, bearing in mind it’s one of the smaller ones, is there is not enough kitchen workspace and the flat doesn’t have much storage so you have to get creative.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Super central, E&C is buzzing, loads of amazing new restaurants and shops opening and you’re walking distance to London Bridge, borough market, Bermondsey and Clapham/Brixton not far. Because it’s central it is very noisy however and can feel like a concrete jungle at times

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are drunks in the street screaming every night.. not an exaggeration.. it’s not a quiet and peaceful place to live

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

More storage / kitchen workspace – like I said before, we have to get creative when cooking and when storing stuff around the house
