Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Honestly, pretty good. It's within walking distance of good restaurants, bars, Wembley BoxPark, and necessities, like food shops, post office and a medical center. There are plenty of busses and a short walk away from multiple train/tube stations. There are also plenty of green spaces, and recreational areas. The only downside is that match days, as expected bring massive crowds. Despite the reassuring police presence, there's chanting, fighting & antisocial behaviour, as well as the odd flare or smoke grenade. Obviously it varies by event, but usually it becomes incredibly difficult to get to shops and public transport. These however, are well advertised, so you have plenty of time to plan around it all!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management is generally very good. All issues have been address promptly and efficiently and communication is generally good for entire process.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When you first move in, there isnt a lot of effort made to make you feel welcome. Its just a sort of key handover and a 'if you need anything come and see us' kind of deal. It's very impersonal.

Manager response

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thorough and insightful review. We’re truly pleased to hear that your overall experience at ARK Wembley has been positive and that you’ve found the building’s design, atmosphere, and community features to your liking. Your comments about the modern-yet-rustic aesthetic, well-maintained amenities such as the gym, wellness studio, Peloton room, communal kitchen, lounges, and coworking spaces are greatly appreciated — it’s rewarding to know these have added value to your stay. We also appreciate your honesty in highlighting areas where we can improve. The feedback regarding the laundry facilities — particularly the limited number of machines, load capacity, and smart dryer functionality — is extremely valuable. We understand how this can be frustrating, especially in a high-occupancy building, and will take your comments into account as we explore ways to improve this service, whether through increasing capacity or providing clearer usage instructions. It’s also important for us to acknowledge your comments regarding your move-in experience. We’re sorry to hear that your arrival felt impersonal and that there were discrepancies in the information provided about what was included in your room. While we are glad to hear that management changes have since improved communication and responsiveness, we recognize the importance of ensuring every resident feels welcomed from day one. We’re actively reviewing our move-in process to ensure it sets the right tone for all new residents. Your comments about matchday disruptions are very valid — while we do our best to provide advance notice and work with local authorities, we know how difficult it can be to navigate the area during large events. We appreciate your patience and your note that such disruptions are typically well communicated. Lastly, we’re delighted to hear that you’ve seen a significant improvement under the current management team. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and are committed to continuing this momentum — especially in being responsive, approachable, and proactive in resolving issues as they arise. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and your recommendation. It’s residents like you who help us continue to grow and improve the ARK experience.

Stylish and Comfortable Living in Canary Wharf

ARK Canary Wharf, E14

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Canary Wharf is vibrant and well-connected, with great restaurants, bars, and open spaces like Jubilee Park. Shops are high quality and transport is convenient via DLR, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines. Streets are clean, safe, and quiet, though parking is limited.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been quick, polite, and efficient in resolving any issues I’ve raised, usually within a day or two.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how quickly laundry slots fill up during weekends—it’s best to book early. Also, the social events are great for meeting people, so joining early helps settle in faster.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is very accessible which is great. Love the DLR and enjoy walking. The noise is an issue from the DLR. But you get used to it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond within 24 hours and offer solutions very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If I could have got a room at the other side of the building away from the dlr.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are many restaurants nearby and shops for the basics, including a small supermarket and a dry cleaner. There is also a lovely coffee shop on the premises! The transport links are great!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had some difficulty using the washing and drying machines in the common laundry room and they were super helpful!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The development really is a lot nicer than I expected. I was a little aprehensive and worried I would find the space too small. While I had visited the development before, I don't think I had fully appreciated how nice it was.
