Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Just one minute away from the complex you will find a morrisons supermarket with everything you need. Just off the Ascot Road roundabout you will also find a budgens store with a couple nice restaurants near by.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A few weeks ago our handle was loose and within a couple of hours the handy maintenance team arrived and fixed it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of parking. If you do not get a parking spot in Cortland car park then it is a big struggle to find parking elsewhere

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The thing I wouldn’t of mind know would be who would be living in sumac garden

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Slightly further away from the city which is the only downside. Good parking availability in underground car park and at Morrisons over the street. Great public transport access with being 20 minute walk from tube station and train station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well, any issues raised previously have been handled accordingly and in a good timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That you can only book amenities once a week… we were not informed of this before move in.

Manager response

Dear Amelia, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It’s wonderful to hear that you’ve been enjoying the modern design and spacious feel of your home, as well as the amenities at Cortland Cassiobury. We’re especially pleased to know Daanish at reception has made a positive impact, we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Your note about the amenities booking system is genuinely helpful. While the once-a-week access is in place to ensure fairness for all residents, we understand how being informed earlier could have helped with planning. Feedback like yours helps us continue refining the move-in experience. We’re also glad to know our maintenance and service teams have met your expectations, and we appreciate your insights on local transport and parking; it’s valuable for future residents to hear. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. Best regards, Your team at Cortland at Colliers Yard

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local range of bars are somewhat limited however the location is only 20 minutes out of London. Living on our street is extremely safe, bin collections ideal and no traffic noise. Furthermore no anti social behaviour. This is a fantastic place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As good as can be, perfect. Any time I have spoken to or raised an issue, they have been prompt in responding and always with solutions never excuses.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I had not known how amazing the actual team were, I don’t think you learn that until you live here. They are truly fantastic and their support and continuous desire to improve the area makes this feel like a home you wouldn’t want to leave.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s an amazing thing having Morrisons just crossing the street. It’s poor service of buses, but if you have a car, it’s perfect cause we have a car park inside the complex. It’s a quite street in general, no noisy

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they always reply to us and support helping with cases of misbehavior of other tenants, etc

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just be aware of bills so you don’t have any surprises with water , energy etc. the windows don’t fully open, so if you have portable air con, will be hard to attach. Not all dog breeds are allowed, but all dogs must be on leads, so it’s safe for everyone. It’s a 20’ walk to the tube station and the route buses is very poor. Regarding the schools quality, we have grammar a 10’ walk distance and a good catholic primary just 8’ walk too.

Manager response

Dear Debora, Thank you for your thoughtful review and for sharing both your perspective as an architect and your experience as a resident. We are delighted to hear that the design and facilities have met your expectations, and it is great to know you are enjoying the amenities and convenience of our location. Your note about our maintenance process and team responsiveness is also appreciated, and we're glad the app system is working well for you. We value your insights on day-to-day living, from transport to pet policies, and your comments will certainly be helpful for others considering our community. If there's anything further we can support you with, please feel free to reach out. Best Regards, Your Team at Cortland Cassiobury
