Outstanding Management and a Wonderful Place to Live

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is fantastic to live in. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants within walking distance, and transport links are excellent with easy access to central London. The neighbourhood feels safe, clean and well maintained. I honestly don’t have any negative comments, as my experience living here has been very positive.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Every issue or question I raised was handled quickly, efficiently and professionally. The team was always responsive, friendly and proactive, keeping me updated throughout the process. I always felt that my concerns were taken seriously, and any problems were resolved as quickly as possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly, I can’t think of anything I wish I had known beforehand because the experience met, and in many ways exceeded, my expectations. If I had one piece of advice for new residents, it would simply be to make the most of the excellent facilities and not hesitate to contact the management team if you need anything they are genuinely approachable, responsive and always willing to help.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Building close to the station but Not enough shops and restaurants in the area. It would be great if tesco finally opens…

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Emily, Fatou and Jibran are always kind, professional and very helpful whenever I wish to raise a concern. They are great team and making a real difference. Jibran conducted my annual inspection today. Although he only joined the team recently, he was very professional and knew exactly what to do. He was very efficient and knowledgeable on how the team can support us as tenants (if needed). Thank you very much!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing in particular. We like living here and I have nothing to add.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Dear Buyer/ Renter please beware each of these flats were like a boiler room during this heatwave with no in built air conditioning or cooling system for the price point you would expect premium cooling and heating systems with the flat. Additionally if you work from home or like a quiet evenings, forget it. Each flat had a community garden which is used as a park by screaming children. There parents and security stand idly as the children scream at the top of their lungs during the evening and the school holidays.Sometimes you call security and they do not even come and speak to the parents of the children. The children scream profanities and have used the garden as a football pitch, for hours on end and until late at night . If you like a relaxing evening you better leave your flat to avoid the screaming and crying children of all ages. Complaints have been made to management and nothing is ever done and the endless screaming and playing of children continues . I actually feel I am on a council estate. There are parties until 3am in the morning due to illegal Airbnb’s rented by teenagers. The smell of cannabis is strong near the riverside due to the influx of teenagers, there is a secondary school near by. The place is becoming filthy and there is more and more litter on the streets. People refuse to put their rubbish in the bins provided, leading to rat infestations again not addressed by management. This is not value for money please save yourself stress and financial hardship and invest in better developments. The management are dismissive of the concerns and talk in circles rather address the problems. Ballymore only care about your money, not providing you with a bespoke service They continue to build more and more flats on this small development and the quality of service decreases . Your packages, if delivered to your lobby are likely to be stolen and no accountability will be taken by the concierge. There have been a spate of thefts in the area, mainly mobile phone thefts. The gym is basic and the swimming pool often needs repair. The is service charge but the communal area’s and garden look like dirty and unkempt. Proceed to rent: buy at your own risk ⚠️. The upside is the development once was very beautiful and has a beautiful river view and is near another river view by Custom House station. They are beautiful parks and it once was a family oriented place .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wished I knew that living on the development would get progressively worse with the influx of flats being built leading to more anti social behaviour and the communal areas being occupied by children especially the gardens where the children are left to scream endlessly while their parents remain in their home.

What is the best feature of your home:

The furniture that I have brought and how I have decorated my flat .

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Royal Docks is a great area with loads going on. The Elizabeth line at Custom House makes getting into central London a breeze, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. Gallions Reach shopping park is close for essentials, and the waterfront walks are a nice bonus. The area has really come on in recent years.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Good and timely manner. There’s also been minimal issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I thought more about the gym facilities as it’s not “useful” for my needs. Very Minsk equipments and space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nothing bad to say at all. All staff were very helpful and accommodating. Easy to contact and always polite and replied to us very quickly. We felt very much at home there and everyone was brilliant. Very close to DLR, shops and a few restaurants. Would definitely stay there again

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not that there were any issues to report really but any minor ones were always dealt with immediately

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly cannot think of anything negative. The location of Millet Place is perfect with the Barrier Park being very close by. DLR and bus service ces also very close by too.
