The bad part of our local area is the lack of shops,restaurants, pubs.As a person that doesn't drive I'm always bound to delivery or my husband to take me in different places or to do basic shopping. The good part of living in this area is the fact that is quite calm and away from all the city chaos and that was what we looked for when we moved here from London

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The first few weeks the response was amazing and the site engineer was always here to help.Once the property moved to the property management things got complicated whenever we reported issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that it was a serious lack of shops in this area and the only way to get to one was driving or by a long journey with the bus

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

So the good aspects are it is a safe area you definitely feel safe living here, its calm and quiet, bin collections are weekly which is nice but they don't provide wheelie bins so the local wildlife tends to eat your rubbish. The area is really lacking in transport links the bus doesnt come often and takes forever to get anywhere on it but to be expected as you are in the countryside. And unfortunately there are no decent shops they just built a co-op but its tiny and often has a lot items missing could really do with a few shops considering the thousands of houses being built. School is a short walk so that's nice if you have children.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had to chase up a few minor issues that was getting ignored but was eventually all sorted to a high standard.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Due to the street being maintained by a separate company there is a fee to this. Now this has already increased and you have no say in it this could become a problem if the fee rises year on year. Wish I knew about this before.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

New Co-op is very good. Nice and quiet since building has calmed down, except for the odd individual speeding at the roundabout. Parking doesn't have enough spaces. Friendly neighbours.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Still waiting on various issues to be fixed. Had the place for 25 months.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Normal, check walls for cracks, check all plug sockets aren't loose and work.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Bin collections are always regular and the bin store is left tidy. Lighting in the car park works but street lighting doesn't. Local bins could be emptied more and dog poo is an issue around here. Local places to walk are beautiful and the meadow and lake are very lovely places to go- more benches would enhance it. There isn't enough parking for more than one vehicle per household. The parks and local amenities promised are yet to be built so we cannot comment on these.
