Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent area. Town centre nearby with all sorts of restaurants and department stores. It's noisy outside, but not unbearable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Promptly, but not very fair and transparent about charged. I have also heard of other residents experiencing similar issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It's tricky to find parking for guests and it can get very noisy on Friday nights.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the area and how close we are to the shops. because the glass is tripled glazing you can barely hear the trains. The flats are pretty soundproof as well, can only hear when people are in the hall when walking past. It can be very difficult living with 100’s of people in the same building. Especially as we’re always getting our bins rejected due to off cross contamination, you would have thought adults would know how to fill a bin properly especially as they’re pictures to help. Another complaint would be careless dog owners will not clean up their dogs toilet mess if they have an accident in the lift (but this is rare) or if a careless person in general leaves a mess from their bin bags in the lift. With a big But you’re going to have people like that everywhere, so in general i’m very happy with the flat. Especially the building manager who genuinely does care and does the best job she can! Shout out to Jen! I love how dog friendly and family friendly the flats are. Everyone i’ve met in person is really nice. I think it’s cheeky it’s in your contract to increase the rent each year, especially with the costs and other flat opportunities in the area. As a whole i’m happy to live here

yes, a leak from the window and in the bathroom ceiling

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

we do overpay A LOT for the internet, it’s really bad quality and cuts out a lot

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The only good aspect of this development is its central location, directly on top of the railway station with services to London and Reading. It is also a short walk to shops and the town centre, which is very useful as renting a parking space costs extra, as do most other features.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The simple answer is that often they do not respond to problems or issues at all; it takes several attempts to get anyone to take a look at a maintenance issue.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That Platform used a communal energy supplier with extortionate standing charges.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is excellent, access to train,bus,taxis and shopping center. Have been living here for 5years.... so far very good experience

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Of the 5years I have been living any repairs, issues or appliance replacement (even during pandemic)has been addressed very quickly and promptly. Overall I am happy with the experience.

I was informed about parking etc... I did not have surprises when I moved in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location for access to local shops, schools and restaurants. Direct link to London. Parking is a pain as it’s across the street in a public carpark.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes however our windows have been leaking since January 2023 and only recently had someone out to look at them

I wish I knew how far the parking was before we moved. It’s a pain for groceries
