Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Point is in a great location as it is in the middle of the city centre. Union Square - where most of the shops are located is a 10-15 minute walk and Bon Accord Shopping Centre is also a mere 5 minute walk. You are however located next to the bar distract (Belmont Street) so it can get quite noisy on Saturday nights (especially since the window in our room faces the pubs). There is 24-hour concierge so you won't have to worry about drunk people wandering in after a night out. You're allowed to use the staff parking when you're moving in which means you can bring furniture etc. without having to worry about hauling it from across town. But otherwise Bon Accord (Harriet Street) Car Park is a few minutes away and it costs £95 a month per car.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I've not really raised any issues so far so can't really comment. I have noted that our room is too small for two people to live in but there isn't much that they can do if they haven't got a lot of one bedroom apartments available.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I don't think cooking in our studio is the easiest thing to do. I would have probably brought less cookery items if I knew I wouldn't be cooking much since there isn't much counter space, and after cooking you don't have a lot of space to clean and wash up. The only time when I'd cook a proper meal is when I'm in the club room, otherwise I tend to lean towards instant/microwave meals or deliveries.

Very central location with lots of amenities close by. Discounted parking permits available for Harriet Street & Loch Street car parks, which are just few minutes walk away from the apartment. Despite being right next door to the busy night life of Belmont street, it is nice and quiet inside the apartments. There is traffic noise from Denburn and the railway line, but only noticeable when the apartment window is open,
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Queries have been responded to very quickly and issues resolved in a timely manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The social events hosted on a regular basis. These are a great opportunity to meet other residents. The recent quiz night was very enjoyable, with snacks and drinks provided, and there were prizes available to the winning teams.

Everything's absolutely fine around here. There are plenty of local shops, pubs, cafés and green spaces within walking distance. Public transport is reliable and easy to access. The street itself is quiet and tidy, bins are collected regularly, and there’s no real trouble with noise or anti-social behaviour. It’s a lovely place to live, really.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been excellent in every way. Phil is a fantastic manager, professional, easy to talk to, and quick to resolve any issues. Vishaal is always polite and pleasant. Talula is very positive and helpful with anything, and Reuben is friendly and courteous. Overall, a brilliant team.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Overall, everything has been great and I’ve had a very positive experience living here. One thing I’d like to mention is how helpful Brad and his maintenance colleague have been. They’re always polite, friendly, and ready to assist with anything around the building. It’s something you might not notice during a viewing, but it really makes a difference day to day.

Very friendly and clean place to live, the point also has many convenient spaces! It is close by to several shops and food establishments in its city centre location.

Bring a thick duvet - Aberdeen is a very cold place in the winter!

Location : Cozy and Vibrant community in centre of the city, just 1 minute walk to Belmont street and 2 minutes walk to Union Street. Amenities : It has all amenities within - Gym room, Club room, Working hub, Laundry, TV lounge, Bin collection, and most importantly the Terrace Garden at 11th floor where you can view the entire city (the favourite one for all the residents). Front office : The front office staffs are much helpful carrying positive vibes, and special mention to the staff TALULA who is very friendly, welcoming and approachable. Made many friends after coming to this place !
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Whenever there has been issues reported like WiFi connectivity, or Laundry Iron fault, the response has been immediate and issues were fixed in a day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
This was the first property that I visited, and visited other properties too, but never felt such a positive vibe that I got here.
