The location is brilliant: sandwiched between great local parks (Finsbury Park, Highbury Fields and Clissold Park) as well as being close to a range of independent shops on Highbury Barn area. Its also really great links to Central London by bus or tube. You can get into Central London in 30 minutes. The area is generally very quiet with little crime or anti-social behaviour. The development itself is peaceful.

To make sure you get the developer to fix all defects properly before you sign it off after 12 months.

What is the best feature of your home:

The natural light I get in the morning and evening on either side of the flat.

The overall area is really good. Lots of good schools, coffee shops, restaurants & very safe for young families.

Service charge!! If only we knew that the management would increase the charge this high over the time. We could have opted to buy somewhere else.

What is the best feature of your home:

Lots of storage in the kitchen with big windows...

Leafy, quiet, central.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Minor issues get sorted. Costs and lack of transparency are the biggest issues.

Great quality design and the location is amazing for families, but the management of gardens could be better

Mske sure you check for defects in the first 12 months

The area is brilliant and was the key driver for living here - Highbury is so close to angel and the west end, while local shops and restaurants are amazing; we have two brilliant parks nearby which are dog and child friendly, as well as the castle for rock climbing.... love it all!

Water heating system Outrageous management fees and bullying attitude Great insulation a plus

Change the shared water and heating system, change the roof and guarantee a safe build ie actuators Also larger floor surface on ground floor
