Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Really quiet during night time and evenings and it's a little loud during the day but what you expect from an in progress housing development. Nice location and a lot of house for the amount paid
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The exact window sizes to get the blinds up on day one!
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
Wider roads outside and more garden facing windows. The road onto the estate is wide, but feel like the roads on the estate are 1m too small for 2 cars comfortably

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Moved here a year ago and so far the estate has been fine. It's not yet fully completed so there's still lots of building works going on but that's to be expected of a new development. The road that I live on is fine, no issues with anyone and all the neighbours seem friendly enough. The only issue I can see so far is that there is very limited parking for visitors (there's only 2 on my the road) so I imagine this will cause problems once lockdown is lifted. Apart from the building supplies there's hardly any through traffic and it's very quiet in the evenings. Bin collections have been good so far, and Test Valley council provide regular updates on their website regarding collection dates. The town centre is a 5 minute drive but it could do with a revamp and encourage more mainstream businesses to invest. There's plenty of supermarkets available, all within a 2 to 5 minute drive and there's even a Tesco Metro approximately 5 minute walk away. You've got some lovely countryside a short drive away and some interesting places to visit, including some fantastic pubs!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How thin the walls are...you can literally hear everything!
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
A garage would be ideal for added storage space and or parking the car and therefore making space on the driveway for visitors.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Builders are noisy (not courteous of residents) and parking wherever they feel like it up the residential streets/visitor parking outside houses. They produce lots of rubbish that gets blown over paths and over the field. Traffic noise is loud. Unsightly building materials and mounds of dirt on the field. Houses are built properly and happy with local green spaces and walks.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Sunlight to garden, checking for any defects to the whole house.
What is the best feature of your home:
Size of the garden and it’s sunlight and layout. Kitchen/dining room size and house layout.
