Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

To start with the good aspects, it's close to the train station. There are parts of the town centre that are being redeveloped which is nice because Bolton Town Centre is incredibly neglected and it shows. It's not an area for socialising and entertainment as much of the centre closes by 6pm. If you're looking for somewhere with a bit of life in the evenings after work, prepare to be disappointed. I moved here during the school summer holidays, and within a month of me being here I got to experience groups of teens either harassing the shopping centre security, or stealing from the local corner shops. As a non driver, I didn't always feel comfortable walking through the town centre past 8pm, sometimes opting to get a 4 minute taxi back from the train station if I had been out in Manchester that night. Traffic noise isn't terrible, my flat was overlooking the car park but sirens are quite regular.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I once complained about noise after sociable hours and didn't receive a response, or an acknowledgment for that matter.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known how disappointing the day to day living experience would be. The building looks attractive, but the poor noise insulation, fire doors that slam so forcefully they shake the walls, and poorly maintained communal areas detract significantly from living here. I’d also have liked to know that parcel security could be an issue. Be mindful of where delivery drivers leave your parcels, as you may need to direct them to a specific location within the building to reduce the risk of theft. Finally, look beyond the appearance of the apartments themselves. Storage is limited, so think carefully about where your stuff will go, and pay attention to the corridors during your viewing. These are things that can have a real impact on your quality of life once you move in.

The local area is peaceful, and has good access to shops and essential services, making everyday life convenient. It is generally clean and feels safe,

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are usually responsive and quick to address any issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The ground floor have a slight damp smell due to mould, but as I live upstairs, it has not affected my day-to-day living.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Stockport has excellent transport links with quick, convenient access into Manchester, making commuting easy. There is a great range of local shops and bars nearby. The open spaces and regional parks are fantastic for walks, and the overall convenience of the location makes living on this street really enjoyable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever any minor issues or maintenance requests have been raised, the building management team handles them quickly, professionally, and with zero hassle.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

​I wish I'd known just how good the social aspect of the community actually is here! The resident events are always incredibly well-organized and a genuinely great way to meet your neighbours.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's very close to the train station so it's easy to get to Manchester for work/leisure. However trains can be unreliable. Going for a short walk locally isn't very nice, it can feel unsafe especially near McDonalds. There's a decent amount of antisocial behaviour, but if you're spending most of your time in the flat it's fine.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They usually attend quickly (within a week) to assess the problem. Their ability to solve it is very mixed, but they do try and keep you updated.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Avoid a property on the ground floor if possible. There is little light due to the high windows, and they are almost impossible to open to air out the flat.

Really good transport links for me as a uni student who attends a manchester uni. Good bars. restaurants and shops

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and attentive. They solve any problems quickly!

Be wary of events closing the roads off so driving is out of the solution. For example Ironman weekend. You can’t use the roads
