Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Being situated in City centre it is surprisingly quiet. I have window open when sleeping at night Gym on-site is phenomenal and and faulty equipment, they will replace Range of community events - Yoga class, Paints, Games night, Running even se for kids Pet allowed building, allowed to decorate flat include nails in wall and paint so long as you sign an agreement Bin collection can overflow at times but that's more a council issue than the flat, has made suitable waste allocation storage for the building size Right next to waterfront very scenic and pretty. Also has greenery. Wild flowers, trees and planted flowers. For city centre this is very nice My biggest con is I wish the communal terraces were cleaned more often. Floors and roofs have moss. The chair furnishings also have moss and webs. They have not been cleaned since I moved in. >3 years. There's also a lack of storage to keep them safe from the rain. So even if you do want to keep them safe from moss/mould. you can't. In general for the high cost p/m I think we lack hiring cleaning staff to keep the upkeep of these outdoor communal areas better.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had an issue what took over a year to fix. USUALLY it's done within 1 month but my email log proves with replies back and forth the difficulties I find I don't really wish to contact for maintenance unless it is for something which requires professional expertise. Small "handy-man" tasks I would rather do myself due to time taken
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing. I think they advertise and explain everything well and don't hide anything.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
When we decided to move to Glasgow, we were torn between CandleRiggs and Solasta Riverside. In the end, choosing Solasta Riverside turned out to be the best decision for us. Its location is unbeatable—just a 5–10 minute walk from the city centre, St Enoch subway, and the railway station, giving us easy access to all forms of public transport. Sitting just south of the river and right next to the Barclays campus, the area offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for walking, relaxing, and exercising. Despite being close to everything, traffic noise is minimal. You will hear the trains go by, but for me, it’s actually a comforting sound. We’ve experienced no anti-social behaviour since moving in—thanks in large part to the visible security presence, with 2 to 6 guards regularly patrolling the site. This has really contributed to our sense of safety and peace of mind.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes - problems with water fixed within the day. Some problems with key access that are ongoing.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
For us, the view was a really important part of choosing our new home. Initially, we were shown east- and south-facing apartments, which offered plenty of natural light, but the views just didn’t feel quite right for us. One of the best parts of the experience was the ability to reserve the ideal apartment ahead of the move. This gave us the time to secure the exact apartment we wanted—with the desired view—while also giving us the flexibility to move in when we were ready. It took a lot of stress out of the process and made settling in feel smooth and well-paced.

Local area is outstanding. Minutes by walking into the heart of city centre, Glasgow Central train station, and everything. Barclay's building to the side makes annoying alarms.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Most of the time, but not always. Told an engineer is coming on a day and they never show.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Amenities are good. Pool table doesn't have enough space on a side. Elevators regularly out.

Responds quickly to emails and the portal is a convenient way of raising any issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Ensure you ask for a flat on a higher floor. South facing flats get lots of natural light.
