We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Royal Connaught Park is a residential development from Comer Homes, set in a Grade II-listed Victorian estate in Bushey, Hertfordshire. Previously used as a school for boys and a university, as well as a backdrop for movies like Harry Potter, it’s now a selection of luxury apartments and houses, set in 100 acres of greenery. It’s close to Bushey Station for direct trains to Euston, the M1 and M25 motorways, and the town of Watford and its Intu shopping mall.

Royal Connaught Park is split into two phases. Phase 1 is the old build, which is a converted university. Phase 2 is a newer more modern design. The site has a vast amount of facilities such as a swimming pool, spa, gym (weights and cardio), tennis court etc.

The design of the development is lovely. Very nice to walk around. Good facilities such as pool, gym and tennis courts though the pool temperature is a bit cold for me. Service charges are quite high but lower than other places. Management company not always transparent as to where service charges are going.

They are awful property developers and I wish I had never got involved. Having read the dreadful reviews on Google I wish I had listened to other people rather than the sales people at the company. Once they have your money they have no interest in you or the state of the property. Comer wants nothing to do with customers when they complain. Please just avoid them like a the plague.

Half of our development is more than 100 years old and has been skillfully converted into flats and houses from a Masonic boys school and the other half is all new build consisting of 2,3 and 4 bedroom flats and houses. There's also a great leisure complex with 2 gyms, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
