Living & working SE18 6FD since 2011 -2025 have 3 properties however area has significantly declined since moving to SE18 6NU 2022. Green patch largest area with 20 water jets open to general public who are generating anti-social activities children screaming constantly 8am-9pm Adults & teenagers getto-blastors music using drinks, drugs Berkely homes not transparent to it’s leaseholders charging excessive amounts service charges! Berkely required extra planning permission hence kept this areas to show Greenwich council they’re providing recreation areas at the expense of its residents! Public who visit these luxury areas are being polluted with rubbish & environment being unkept These areas are clean well maintained from service charges Rendal & Rittner are not favourable to leaseholders, instead making more properties making this area construction development on-going. Warren Lane building works!

Large recreational areas green space water features for public use, living next to residential social housing anti-social housing!Area!! I did not know SE18 new development area such poor standards! Living standards fair ground with local communities bringing noise rubbish daily 24/7 No respect for residents who are paying over odds mortgage with extortion service charges!
What is the best feature of your home:
Purchased for exclusive luxury riverside views with double balconies. However very disappointing disheartening how noise pollution, living construction developments!

Fantastic location with everything at a stone’s throw, from new Elizabeth line, overground station, cafeterias and gastro pubs, the Woolwich pier, riverside cycling route, recreation and exercise spaces like the Yoga Space, pilates and gym. I have been able to smoothly optimise my time, staying very close to central London for work commute as well as enjoy the riverside life

I had almost all the information I needed to move in. Definitely exploring myself, I found Woolwich works to have an array of activities and events every week, the farmer’s markets and amazingly brunch at Boulangerie Jade
What is the best feature of your home:
The balcony overlooking the pub and park, Elizabeth line within 2min walk, Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s within 3-4min walk.

It would be great to have more visitors parking available as I don’t think it is enough for the amount of properties here.

The community events and to actually view the facilities and cinema room would have been great

The balcony and living area is my favourite. The views are stunning.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s great living here - the transport links are amazing, with the Elizabeth line, DLR, overground trains, buses and even the Clipper all available, so you can always get around! It would be nice to have Lime bikes or similar but maybe that’s on the way in the future? There are lots of great local independent shops & businesses you can support, including a vibrant market square which is great for fresh fruit and vegetables. We have great grocery shops too, with Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Lidl and M&S all within a 10 minute walk from my building. The retail park nearby in Charlton has larger M&S & Sainsbury’s stores, along with ALDI and large Primark, Boots, TKMaxx & Homesense. IKEA is also near that shopping mall, so we have everything you need quite close by and easily accessible via public transport. There’s loads of green space and places to walk or cycle which is also great. My building is brilliant - no security issues and the waste management services are great, so no complaints!

I wish we’d known that the plumbing for the upstairs loo wasn’t done correctly, as we had to pay to sort that out which was a bit frustrating. Everything else is good. I wish the flooring was better quality but I’ve been here 15 years now and although the carpet and vinyl floors probably both need replacing now, that’s still a pretty good lifespan, so it’s still good.
What is the best feature of your home:
Loads of natural light and an interesting layout - it’s a really cool & fun flat.

Same issues of planners giving little engagement with residents and then when they do ignoring their suggestions. ie Punchdrunk entrance creation.

As the development has become more commercialised amenities such as Unity Kitchen have closed. This was a very good employment source for disabled residents in Woolwich. The Greenwich Heritage Centre and Firepower museum have also moved. A new arrival Punchdrunk is a good addition but they have no engagement with residents especially regarding the construction of their theatre entrance.

Difficulties with some neighbours unwilling to compromise on excessive noise.

Build quality of terrace doors. Double-glazing quality.
