Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good location, short walk to the city centre and transport links like Glasgow Central train station. Close to the west end of Glasgow for bars and restaurants. Lots of building going on around the Platform building so alot of noise and dust.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Again they have answered emails but not done any of the maintenance required.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
All security doors and outside gates into platform around block c are broken so anyone can just stroll in. Lift in block c was also broken for a long time so moving in was a nightmare.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The good aspects are the location, the presence of a grocery store in the same residential architecture, and the bad aspects are many, including the service is bad, the inability to solve problems, the size of the gym is small, the lack of sufficient devices, and the garbage place is always full because of the days of throwing the garbage, as well as the lack of cleanliness of the corridors in the buildings, the repair of ruins, as well as the electricity and rent bills are high, and the presence of cars in a chaotic way and hinders movement outside the building and hinders movement and many more others.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Honestly, it's bad. Honestly, the service is bad, and there is no professionalism and knowledge of solving problems, whether simple and complex problems, and an example of that until now is the smell of the corridor at night, it's all the smell of smoke and not pure.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I was hoping that this residence would be comfortable and clean, its service was excellent, and the electricity prices were not high, and the rental price did not change.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are few parking spaces non of which are available due to the high volume of residents. Parking fee starts at £250-300 per month which is twice as much as building further down the street.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Repairs needed from day one with sockets not working. Took over a week to revive a response email and even longer for maintenance to repair the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
- Rent increases each year - Cinema room has been unusable for better part of a year - Maintenance take around 2 weeks for repairs - There is gorgeous dinning room, games room and gym unfortunately there’s a high volume of residents also wanting to use these facilities making it difficult to get a slot

Expensive, run down but a good location- OK for a short period of time if you don’t have other options.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Building- the resident spaces are well designed but the second you step beyond the reception area, you notice how run down the place is. Starting from the lifts, overflowing bin area, broken door and half-finished corridor walls and stairs. Access cards do not work properly. Flats- most are very small for what you pay for. Standard and quality of finish is average at most. Heavily limited storage space. Windows have child locks and you’re not allowed to unlock it even when it’s hot so you end up with a very stuffy apartment. The reception staff has the tendency of sending out emails advising that there’s work going on in, for example, corridors and in case they need access to your apartment, they will just let themselves in. Utilities- read your contract before you move in. Utilities are not included so for one bed you are looking at the additional +£200 council tax plus your hot water and electricity bill. The latter is crazy expensive as there is a standing charge of minimum £30 monthly so even if you weren’t at home at all with all appliances switched off, you still need to pay. I use very little electricity and pay £100 monthly. In my old house, it was three times cheaper. You don’t get to choose your provider. Basic wi-fi is included in the rent and the speed is ok. Maintenance- very slow. Reported an issue a couple of months back, the ticket was closed without anyone addressing the problem. Had to reopen it and still waiting for a response. Any building work seems to be ongoing - there’s always something being repaired/ added/ refreshed. Location- great if you don’t have a car. Waking distance to the city centre and if you are one of the few lucky ones to get an apartment with a river view, you’ll most definitely enjoy it. Building has a private parking but it’s really expensive. Limited options around the property. Facilities- viewed my apartment around Jan/Feb, and was told that the cinema will be reopen soon. We’re now in September and it’s still not available to use. Gym is small but has everything you need. Additional bar and diner available for rent - well designed. Staff- everyone is polite and friendly however if you challenge some of the practices, you might get mixed responses. They tend to tend to treat you like a child that doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
One issue raised. Ticket closed without the resolution. Currently waiting for an update on the new ticket raised. It’s been almost two months now since initial problem reported
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s very much a student oriented building The properly is not finished (corridors, stairs, cinema) The bills are very high without the option to change the provider and save money Reception staff will assume they can access your apartment whenever needed
