Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Bad Aspects; -Constantly under construction from sites nearby (on going for 4 years, still in action for min. 2 more) - No parking availability unless you wish to walk a fair bit to your car/ fight or look for parking spots because PeaBody are such stingy aholes, that they need to rip money off you if you dont have a parking permit (hard to get) The area is genuinely really boring, there's nothing exciting around and no good walks, really. - the homes were made cheaply & poorly, the grass on the homes has had to been replaced, the door and window hinges have literally started falling off after a year and a half, some of cabinets were missing the softening components to stop them from crashing every time you close them. The carpet was untucked in some areas. Good notes; -really good placement for living in oxford, as you have a bus near you & shops for everything near you.

That the parking was going to have to be a survival of the fittest and I have to get into constant fights with everyone.

What is the best feature of your home:

The fact that its still technically in oxford, and not outside of it.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Anti social behaviour , delivery drivers bike stolen outside the flats. Given one month notice for controlled parking permits which gives no option to people with more then one car. Not all of us work in the city and have no other option. The whole road is controlled by the building site which causes hardship to get in and out of the road, makes noise well past 6pm some days and are bringing in cranes at 5.30am with council approval. Construction workers think they are in charge and give little regard to those that live here and just want to get home.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we’d known about how long and how much of a disturbance the building work opposite would be. Also mainly that they were going to only allow one car per household. No idea what we will do as one of our vehicles is a work one which only has three seats and has to be close to the flat for security. The other is a family car and I do not feel comfortable parking it up in Sanford in Thames by the mental health hospital. Transport links from littlemore not good enough to get rid of a car for our family. The ltns are a real nuisance and would love to see scientific proof that they have benefited the environment around litleemore/east Oxford.

What is the best feature of your home:

The large windows and view of the river. Some nice plants

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's a lovely neighbourhood with lovely neighbours and lots of young families. We've got a couple of major supermarkets not too far away. Although we're quite near to the ring road the double glazing is very good. I like that it's on the edge of the city.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I really wish I'd known about service charges and rental increases. And I wish I'd known about the reputation of Peabody and Catalyst.

What is the best feature of your home:

I like that it's a modern home that doesn't need any fixing whatsoever and has three floors. Our garden is a good size. We have a really big drive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's quite, away from any traffic. Spacious and not too crowded in. Negatives: lack of shops/restaurants within walking distance and the road system outside and to get into Littlemore needs to be completely redone (although that's on council).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not raised any issues, other than only being provided with two keys but picked third up a week or so after moving in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Difficult to attach things to the walls, even with plasterboard fixings. Main room curtain pole a nightmare due to RSJ support stopping screws going far enough in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

In Oxford nice country public transport bad bin collection has been frequent however there is a bit of a local fly issue.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes heating was fixed mid winter to great relief good turn around.

There is WiFi through hyperopic it comes with a box and is cheaper and faster than most others.
