Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Love my new home and neighbours. Happy with the location. Quality of finish has been poor. I have been in my property not quite 2 years and on to my second kitchen already due to poor workmanship. As are another 6 of my neighbours. Part of my roof was damaged last friday during windy conditions. I have had 2 seperate builders out and both have stated that my roof ends arent attached correctly and Persimmon need to come and sort it out as this is why the roof has damaged. I have informed Persimmon of this over a week ago. They are refusing to come and see the roof citing storm damage and that I have to go through my insurance, and no one has rang me, even though they have stated on e mail that they have spoken to me and customer services will ring me. More high winds due tonight. The most frustrating part is that the rest of the development is still being built 100 yards from my house yet no one will come and assist me. Hoping my roof stays put tonight as to quite the last builder who came out, I was lucky the whole roof didnt lift off. Wished me luck!! I also have a huge crack in the gable end of my wall and under the kitchen window. Surveyor coming to look at that tmrw...

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Kitchen was replaced after many visits to rectify failed. Plasterer was supposed to attend last week. Now coming next year. Being ignored about the state and instability of my roof.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there would be many rats on the estate, and when reported to customer services, told it was due to people installing decking??
