I love living in my house!! It is amazing! Having a pool and a gym at the bottom of our building is great! I go down there loads with my brother!! It is great living high up because the view is absolutely fabulous, you can see everything! The design of the reception is brilliant and the receptionists are always so kind.

I love living where I live. It is great living by a canal and it is great being right in central London. The only bad thing is city road is so busy and has so much traffic on it. And the restaurants and shops are great.

Nothing it is just brilliant there are absolutely no flaws.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been great and their surface is brilliant.

The building is incredibly quiet for such a vibrant part of the city. I can’t hear my neighbors or the busy city bustling below. The staff from the concierges to the cleaners are incredibly kind, respectful and so very helpful. The gym facilities aren’t exactly what I need, but I’m very grateful to have it here in the building. The pool is really nice to have as well.
I cannot day enough great things about the staff!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I love almost everything but I absolutely hate the faucet in the kitchen. Nothing to be done about it, but it’s something I think about every day Bc I use it every day.
ALSO the water is particularly here. I have to descale my kettle monthly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve needed access to our meters a few times and have never had a problem getting help. Also, our packages often find their way right to our door which is so wonderful!

The tower looks pretty from the outside, for sure. There are great south-facing views of London. The concierge are friendly — they are also convenient for getting deliveries when you are out. The windows don’t open and the A/C isn’t great, meaning rooms can get incredibly hot. I haven’t used the facilities (pool, spa, gym) yet but they look nice.

Perfect location for people who work in Shoreditch. It’s far enough away from the grime of Shoreditch, but still close enough that you can walk there in 10 mins. There are two 24/7 shops within a minute walk, and at least 2-3 other supermarkets too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you are into home automation, the apartments here have KNX systems built in. The management don’t provide the .knxprod file that holds the system architecture, so changing things is a time-consuming task of debugging KNX.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t raised any problems since I moved in a few months ago.

Comments on design, utilities and building management

We are in a one bed apartment but the rooms are a really good size. New fixtures and appliances that are easy to maintain and utility cupboard storage space. Insulation and double glazing keep the flats warm and quiet. Clean communal corridors and secure Ground floor access with lift to floors. Building management are responsive but waited a couple of days to hear from the last time we had a query about our utilities.

Great location in Islington with easy access to Regents canal and Shops and restaurants of Upper Street. 10 Minute walk to Old street and The City.

Wardrobe Storage in bedroom could be better thought out as half is boarded up to accommodate pipes

What is the best feature of your home:

Bathroom is spacious, new and with good quality fittings

Modern interior design. Beautiful gym area with swimming pool and spa. Friendly 24/7 concierge. They quickly address the questions and resolve any issues with the apartment. The flat’s public places are cleaned regularly, which is especially important during Covid-19 Pandemic.

Lots of shops and cafes nearby. Located between Angel and Old Street. Bus is opposite the flat, while a 10 min walk is needed to tube station (either Angel or Old Street)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flat does not have any windows that can open. Additionally, it can only be controlled digitally (no mechanical controls).

What is the best feature of your home:

On-site gym area, which has swimming pool and spa.

The building is a great design – I love how the light reflects on the outside giving it a very sleek, uniform and modern look. Inside the apartments have a very innovative layout, and may favourite thing would be the wood detailing and panels – makes it feel luxurious and interesting, while contemporary. I also like the windows and view over London from my home, plus the lovely gym and pool in the basement.

The area is great – right between two Underground stations – Angel and Old Street stations – each about 8-10mins walk away, with lots of coffee shops and convenience stores on the way!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t think I’d use the gym much, but actually it’s so convenient having it in your own building!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Good, few issues. Friendly concierge staff and they always look out for my mail and deliveries etc.

Worse managment i have ever had

I have a leack in my flat since novemeber last year. I still waiting for someone to call me and fix it.
I gave up calling them.
Clarion is the company i am having issues but no problems with the building.
Everytime i call they say they will call me back and i dont hear from them in months.

Excellent design of entrance lobby and gym/spa. Gym could use with a squat rack and Olympic bar though. Spa facilities are excellent but often parts are broken and takes a while to get them repaired e.g. jacuzzi jets. Cleaners are always superb and everything is clean all the time. Concierge are also very good

Excellent choice of restaurants. Tube station could be closer as could the large supermarkets but very close small co-op

Poorly, light has been broken in my hallway for almost a year, reported multiple times but still hasn’t been fixed.

Modern canalside living with a view

Chronicle Tower is a modern development with stunning floor to ceiling windows with views of the London skyline. The bright, open flats feel much larger than they are and with fantastic built in amenities from Siemens and other high quality brands it is the perfect base for a young professional.

Walking distance to both Old Street / Angel, it is a great location for a lively nightlife. Also located on the canal, it is within walking distance of a number of sights such as London Zoo, Camden Market and London Fields.

The concierge team are very helpful and the building facilities are great for the casual gym goer.

Overall I would recommend to anyone wanting to live in the area.

Old Street / Angel are perfect for young professionals with great bars, restaurants and cafes as well as great transport links throughout London.

Regents Canal is a great link to a number of areas such as Camden, London Fields and even as far afield as Stratford.

Expenses other than the norm, such as the climate cooling within the building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick response to issues, however occasionally delays in getting the landlord to approve budgets for repairs.

Poor engerring as everything is made from cheaper materials, the design isn’t always made as not as confortable
Ventilation can sometimes be an issue as some flats don’t have working acs and is sometimes dusty
Still feel comfortable
