Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s close to town but the development has nothing itself.. but you have what you need around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were terrible, I presume we are talking about defects in this question? So I submitted my final defect period report April 2021. I’ve not even heard back. Appalling, don’t care, unless.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the aftercare were never going to help. The builders however. They are perfect and they will help you.. but they are busy meeting deadlines… the after care team should be doing that.. and they have better social skills and care more.

Good access of local shops , pubs and restaurants, Ashford town centre is 10 minutes away but also Conningbrook lakes is definitely in the countryside

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Slow but getting there , sometimes takes multiple emails , some like the lead work I’ve just done myself rather than mess my house up and wait for someone to actually turn up

Community spirit is high here , everyone looks out for each other and keeps an eye on who’s around ,

Love living here, love the area and the houses, however not satisfied with the aftercare

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not really, some of them have been done but the majority have just been ignored, we had a professional snagging report done that we sent off last May. A few have been done but the rest ignored.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been nice to have been made fully aware about the management fees as we are still unsure on them

Lovely area, far enough outside of Ashford to be quiet, but still very convenient

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No. We gave up trying to get snagging resolved, after hitting a brick wall many times.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Get copies of every piece of paperwork during the sales process. We were mislead into signing a plot boundary, which was very different to what was sold to us.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love my home at Conningbrook Lakes. I think the design of the estate and the house is great, the roads are nice and wide and it’s easy to go on some lovely walks around the nearby lakes. Very convenient for hospital, Tesco and the Conningbrook pub. It’s very peaceful and generally neighbours are lovely

Not yet had to use the management services but so far correspondence has been ok

Get a private snagging company if you are purchasing from new
